Very recent extreme flood events around the world call for urgent understanding of new insights into partnerships practices among stakeholders for effective mitigation action on a global level. This proposed handbook to be edited by experienced flood researchers from Africa and Europe is seeking to evaluate partnerships across the six continental blocks and drawing lessons for new insight into global best practices for both in-country and international collaboration in flood disaster risk reduction.
