𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, according to Willem van der Zee and Rodolphe Van Weyenbergh from the Brussels Hotels Association (BHA). “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵, 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘫𝘰𝘣𝘴 ... We are convinced that Brussels needs a large convention centre, equipped with up-to-date comfort in terms of architecture, furnishing, connectivity to mobility etc. Urgent reinvestments are needed in the renovation of Brussels Expo, Cinquantenaire Park and King Baudouin Stadium. Brussels needs a strong 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 to keep pace with other European cities in terms of capacity, quality and access to historical emblematic and symbolic sites. In our 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺, we have outlined what is needed to reposition Brussels as (event) destination after losing several reputable events due to a lack of adequate infrastructure. 👉 Dutch: https://lnkd.in/enbQuij4 👉 French: https://lnkd.in/edWU8vAQ https://lnkd.in/ecMcY2uR

✨ Transforming History into Luxury 🏴 In today's ever-evolving world of luxury hospitality, we continue to witness the remarkable transformation of iconic landmarks into exceptional hospitality establishments. One standout example is the Raffles London at The OWO, a project that not only honors the heritage of the Old War Office but also redefines the boundaries of modern luxury. This stunning development, with its 120 rooms and suites, 85 branded residences, and a host of fine dining experiences, showcases what’s possible when history meets innovation. Staying and working in this historic building as hotel guests is literally magic, feeling observed by the ghosts of Winston Churchill and James Bond! 🇬🇧 The luxury hotel market in the UK continues to experience dynamic growth, driven by strong flows of international travelers. London, a city with rich historical and cultural assets, is at the forefront of this trend, becoming a major destination for those seeking both luxury and unique experiences. It has 2 to 3 times more rooms in the luxury and lifestyle segment compared to Paris. As we look ahead, the future of hospitality is filled with optimism. With iconic projects like Raffles at The OWO setting new standards, we are excited about what’s to come. Accor's ability to blend history, innovation, and luxury into unforgettable experiences will continue to shape the future of our Group and of our industry. Non-places consist of those spaces that are necessary for specific purposes, but have no interaction with the people who frequent those spaces. For example, airports, shopping malls and train stations. They have no identity, no history, they just exist, but the Leopolda is different! From a non-place, it has become one of the most pliable spaces in Florence, experienced by everyone who passes through and comes to life event after event. #StazioneLeopolda #StazioneLeopoldaFirenze #eventsplanning #eventsdesign #florence #cityofflorence

“The luxury real estate market, a refuge from political instabilities”, Eric Donnet (Féau) Eric Donnet, general manager of the Féau group, is the guest of Mon Podcast Immo. At the microphone of Ariane Artinian, he presents his journey and his analysis of the luxury real estate market. Ariane Artinian welcomes Eric Donnet, general manager of the Daniel Féau group for a new episode of Mon Podcast Immo. The former director of Groupama Immobilier looks back in particular on his career, and on the impact of the dissolution of the National Assembly - and also that of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, on the luxury real estate market. A family passion for real estate Eric Director, general manager of the Daniel Féau group talks about his family attachment to real estate “with a father who was a developer in the north of France and in Belgium, and a grandfather who was active in this field too”. His passion for real estate goes back a long way: “At a very young age, I went to visit land with my father. These experiences forged my passion for real estate.” The political impact and fundamentals of the luxury market How are sellers and buyers reacting to the current political uncertainty? “It is still too early to draw definitive conclusions. Transactions already underway continue, but there is a certain wait-and-see attitude, particularly among foreign investors. », answers Eric Donnet. He nevertheless provides a reassuring analysis of the stability of the sector in the face of political and economic turbulence: “What took centuries to build cannot be permanently damaged in a few weeks,” he explains. This stability continually attracts investors, even in times of uncertainty. The specific expectations of buyers of luxury goods? They favor properties ready to live in: “Turnkey apartments, properties where they only have to put their suitcase,” he explains. This trend reflects a desire for immediacy and simplicity in a context where time is a precious luxury. The Olympics and the influence of France The general director of Féau also underlines the crucial importance of the role of intermediaries: “The profession of intermediary and mediator is essential in reading and deciphering the real estate market. » With the increasing complexity of transactions and regulations, specialist expertise is needed more than ever to navigate this market successfully. “The need for advice is reinforced. Acquisition plans must be adapted to guarantee optimal transactions, respecting ethics and confidentiality. » It also addresses the expected positive impact of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on the luxury real estate market. “The Olympics are a fantastic opportunity for Paris to shine on a global scale. This will contribute to the influence of France and Paris for our foreign customers. » Eric Donnet is convinced that this global event will strengthen the attractiveness of Paris and stimulate investments in prestigious real estate. To be continued…
