As part of the RAAK PRO Moral Smart Cities project, we are exploring the functioning and effects of these committees in Dutch municipalities. Our research focuses on their legal and administrative integration, the behavioral norms they develop, and their impact on governance. Well, that’s going straight in the list of best things I’ve discovered in 2024😅 The BS Asymmetry Principle, also known as Brandolini’s Law,  states that the amount of energy needed to refute BS is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it. On a much more serious note, that explains why fake news spread so quickly and (apparently) uncontrollably.
