Lots of you are asking - so here's the answer!!!!!......... Essential Oils v Carrier Oils - "What is the difference between a pure Essential Oil v Carrier Oil?" 💚 Carrier Oils are: 🥥🌴 Natural oils made from the fatty portion of a plant, usually from the seeds, nuts, or kernels. Most common extraction method is cold pressed. Fixed oils, so that they do not evaporate. Use as it is purchased (no dilution needed) so it can be used as a base to dilute Essential Oils. Bland, with little, to no aroma. Provide hydration and nourishment to the skin. Examples: Fractionated coconut oil (that readily absorbs into our skin). Jojoba oil. Olive oil. Sweet Almond oil. Argan oil. Essential Oils are: 🍊🍋 Concentrated oils that are extracted from living plant leaves, roots, flowers, seeds, bark, wood, resin, and fruit. Most common extraction methods are steam distillation and cold pressed. Sometimes too strong to apply to the skin, so in these cases adding a carrier oil is a good idea before applying topically. Volatile oils, as they are chemically pure. They can evaporate quickly, which is why we store them in dark-coloured bottles, in a cool, dark place, and out of direct light. Highly aromatic & fragrant. Therapeutic benefits. All carrier oils can dilute pure Essential Oils ie. "carried" to your skin. In this way, both oils have their unique qualities and beneifts and this is why they complement each other so beautifully.🙏 Contact me to find out how these oils can tranform how you look and feel today!
