I am already stressed about how close Christmas and New Year are and you are going to be all like 12 Days of Christmas now?" Yep. You'll thank me in 2025. Coming up are 12 mind blowingly simple but profound things to explore your brain for the answer to. 7 Secret Questions to Find Your Purpose and big why (without this rocket fuel, your goal rocket is going nowhere.) 5 Hidden Blocks that will trip you up, weigh you down and make you procrastinate your way out of taking action - these need slaying - not sleighing - they are no, no, no not ho, ho, ho and need sorting pronto. SO - simple strategies to set you up for 2025, whether you feel 2024 was a pile of poo or golden - no worries - 2025 needs new mojo and if you want some like minded friends to riff ideas with then this is perfect for you. In between Christmas and New Year.. The days between Christmas and New Year feel strange, don't they? A space where time slips through your fingers - too fast to grasp, yet heavy with stillness. You sit in the quiet, unsure of what to do, caught between the weight of what was and the unknown of what's to come. But maybe this is how it's meant to be. After a year of highs and lows, of striving and surviving, you don't need to fill these days with plan or purpose. They are not a void to fix or a blank slate to write on - they're a gift. A time to breathe. A time to rest. A time to let go of everything you carried for so long. Don't condemn yourself for the stillness. Don't rush to plan, to fix to figure it all out. The new year would arrive, as it always does, bringing its own rhythm and clarity. For now, let these days just be. Let them hold you. Let them remind you that it's okay to exist without a plan. That it's okay to simply feel. 2024 isn't over yet - live it, even in its quietest moments.

Tips for getting through the Christmas Season without getting drained. 1. Focus only on what’s important and valuable to you (and your family/business/sphere of influence). Doing things out of a sense of obligation is draining. 2. Take time to notice the small things that bring you joy. It might be savouring the smile from a stranger passing by, someone offering to help in some small way, freebies (like that 9th coffee free, haha!), sitting down after a long time standing. Take that 5-10 minute tea break - and make it phone-free! 3. Get good sleep. Just put everything on hold for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a fresh, clean slate and awaits with endless opportunities. Let your mind switch off. Be self-compassionate, resting well knowing you have completed all you have for the current day. You’ve done well, now rest! 4. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Save your energy for the things that really matter. 5. Choose joy. Acknowledge the hard things you have to face; they’re making you a stronger, more resilient person. This alone is fuel for joy!! ☺️

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you travel through the month of December. Small, meaningful moments often bring the most joy. 🎁 Communicate with Your Family: Regular check-ins with your partner and kids can help manage expectations and reduce stress. 🎁 Be Present: Remember, sometimes the best gift you can give is simply your time and attention.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year... Except when it’s not. The tension starts before you even walk through the door. - A comment about your weight. - Subtle digs at your life choices. - The cousin who ALWAYS knows better. You tell yourself to breathe. To stay calm. To not let them get under your skin. But family? Family hits differently. Here’s what no one talks about: 1. You don’t have to agree to belong. You can hold your ground with love. 2. Boundaries don’t ruin relationships; they reveal them. The ones worth keeping will rise to meet you. 3. You’re allowed to show up as you, not the version they expect. The holidays are hard because they reflect what we long for: connection, safety, understanding. What if this Christmas, instead of bracing ourselves, we led the room with grace? Happy December loves!! It’s the LAST MONTH of 2024. New month. New day New mercies. New opportunities. Same goals & possibly some new goals. Same intentions (unless you need to upgrade the old ones). Same focus (unless you need to upgrade and re-focus). Take some time to reflect on November and decide how you want to show up for YOU in December. There are two parts to this post... FIRST PART: Before you jump head first into the new month, make sure you take time to properly say GOODBYE to November. Take some time over the next few days to review and reflect on November. What did you experience? Get your journal and then answer the following questions... • What worked? • What didn't work? • Why did it work? • Why didn't work? • What do you need to keep doing? • What do you need to stop doing? • What do you need to tweak? • What and who do you need to let go of? • What did you do for you this month? • What did you do for fun? • How did you spend time with God this month? SECOND PART: Now that you are in day 1 of chapter 12 of your book, 2024. • What will it look like? • What will each daily life page say? • Will you let life happen or will you happen to life? • What would you like to accomplish? • What and who do you need in your life to accomplish what you desire in December? • What will it take to make it happen? • What action steps will you put into action today? • How will you spend time with God this month? • How will you make time for you this month? • What will you do for fun this month? Take some time over the next few days to get quiet so you can create a vision/plan for your chapter 12 and then do the work. Be intentional about co-creating each day & week with God. Ask Him for guidance and direction as you begin to plan and write. P.S. I ask these same questions every month. So start being intentional with your time, your energy, your space, and yourself. I’m offline for the first three days of the month to rest, reset and recharge for the new month. Make plans to disconnect at least one full day at the beginning of the month to do the same. xo💚

There is a lot of emotional luggage we sometimes carry from childhood. We keep it with us, and sometimes we let it sit on our front seats, and even to cover our windows. We take the pain, but we do not read the instructions. And often, we do not take the responsibility for where this luggage sits today. There is a lot of work to fix the past. And it's very important. But to do that you need to realize first that once you become an adult, you need to look at that inner child and care for its current needs. You got little attention when you were a baby. -> Heal that by offering yourself attention when and where it feels to have mattered most then. You were bullied in school or at home? -> Create a safe space for your inner child to express him/herself. You were pressured to be perfect. -> Be honest about your imperfections and grateful, because they make your life different than a photocopy of anybody else's. Looking not at what you did not have as a child, but at what you can offer that child now might change a lot of your current narrative. Because your body may have matured, but some of your emotional mechanisms never got to. And never will, unless you give them the chance to. So nurture, care for, pay attention, show up, be the cheerleader for the kid you once were. It makes a world of a difference.
