Berry Global slashed Scope 3 GHG emissions, achieving a 21% reduction compared to 2019 figures, as it progresses towards a 25% reduction target by 2025. In 2023, Berry Global significantly boosted its use of renewable electricity by 65%, notably transitioning all its operations in Mexico to wind and solar power. The company is also working alongside the Science Based Targets initiative to establish new emissions targets for Scope 1 and 2, which will be revealed in due course. Furthermore, the company has prioritized workforce development, increasing the average training hours per employee from 54 to 58.
