No-one punches the air working for a monolith. No one punches the air working with one either. Because in the end it’s always just your best 3 people vs theirs. If you had ever wondered as to the value of a scarce, desirable independent creative shop now is the time to find out. Get a crew you know and trust. Define a new way and energy. Brand it well and ATTACK.
Well said, Nils Leonard. imagine turning up to watch a rock band that had 100 people on stage, most people prefer to concentrate on 3 to 5. The Police did well with 3, and U2 seems to have done okay with 4. The more concentrated the numbers, the better the output.
When a team is passionate and united, they can truly make a difference. It’s refreshing to see a focus on creativity and innovation, rather than just following the status quo.
There are amazing independent ones but the model needs to change and the way the sector works with clients needs to change. What we don't do well needs to be as recognized as what we do well. Make ourselves indispensable to the C suite and debate to be better not to self-destruct.
Brilliant and well said - Independents have skin in the game and deliver against all the odds. It's what we do and why we do it.
And so doing that. Watch the space
Some people still think size matters. For everyone else - things just got spicy. Let the games begin!
It’s exactly what we’re doing with Ladyship 💥

2wNils. The news frankly couldn’t be more thrilling or more motivating for 2025. In the (sort) of words by EF Schumacher, small couldn’t be more fucking beautiful right now - or more valuable - or more sprintlike. My gorgeous, carefully crafted independent strategy studio of intersectional thinkers, who plug into both agencies and direct to brands, are ready to go and solve problems, before the big guns have even gotten of bed. Let’s go 👌💅🖤
