Your customers’ wins > your personal wins. ⭐ Chapter 2 of 365: #Growing with Tosaat – Tales from the Cafe I’ve been working with this adorable little cafe, Off The Table, for the past few months, helping them navigate the unpredictable rollercoaster that is running a small business. From celebrating our first breakeven month (cue the confetti) to days when the calculator screamed “insufficient funds” – we’ve had it all. Yesterday, as we pieced together last month’s PnL, something magical happened – they crossed 6 figures in net sales for the first time. Let me tell you, I’ve done a lot of cool things (humble brag), but nothing has come close to the pure joy of watching their business thrive. It felt like watching your kid win a school race – except the “kid” is a cafe, and the “race” involves really good sandwiches. From Biscuits to Business: My Entrepreneurial Journey 🍪 When I was around 10 years old, I used to raid the biscuit tin at home and put the biscuits in a food bag. I'd smash the biscuits into crumbs with a roller boot, and package them up as my own biscuit mix. I even branded it (with a name that admittedly hasn't stood the test of time) as "Freddie Mix"! 🥣 I’d sell these little treats to my classmates for 50p each, and that was my first taste of entrepreneurship! Fast forward to today, and that same spirit drives me in my business ventures. It’s amazing how those early experiences can shape who we become. #Entrepreneurship #Throwback

**Do Everything with Intention** Life pulls me in many directions: family, growing a company, staying healthy etc. ✅ Despite having almost no cartilage in either knee (long, boring ex-footballer story), training for the half marathon is going well. ✅ As of this week we will have highest number of contractors on client sites since we started. ✅ My eldest started school last week. Although the time has flown and it was an emotional milestone, I've felt very present. ⛔ Yet, I’ve dropped the ball on a few things... As I celebrate my 8th year in the world of entrepreneurship, I am deeply honored to be recognized with the Entrepreneur 100 Award once again. This journey has been filled with countless challenges, learnings, and triumphs, and I am incredibly grateful for every moment. I still remember the early days when our "sorting hub" was a multi storey carpark. One of my fondest memories is the night we had to sort through an unexpected surge of orders. With no proper equipment, we used makeshift tables and battery operated lamps to get the job done. It was chaotic, exhausting, and exhilarating all at once. That night taught me the true meaning of teamwork and resourcefulness, and it remains a defining moment in our journey. Unlike many startups, we are not heavily funded by external investors. Every dollar spent is carefully considered and committed only after thorough deliberation. This has taught us the value of prudence and strategic planning, making each achievement even more rewarding. Winning this award for the second time is not just a personal achievement; it’s a collective victory. It reaffirms my belief in the power of perseverance, collaboration, and innovation.
