Imagine pets taking on human roles—running the boardroom, enjoying a movie night, or tackling an intense gaming session—all created with the magic of AI! 🐾 No paws were pressed—just pure AI fun! 🎉 Here’s a quick breakdown of how I brought these playful scenes to life, entirely powered by AI: 🎨 Image Creation with #Midjourney – Used #Midjourney to generate hyper-realistic, expressive pet images that fit each unique scenario. 🎶 Audio Design with #Udio – Created custom audio tracks with pet-themed sounds to match the vibe of each scene, from intense “workday” tunes to laid-back “movie night” sounds. 🎥 Video Composition with #Runwayml – Crafted the animated video sequences, blending each element to make the pets’ personalities shine. ✨ Finishing Touches in #AfterEffects – Put it all together with smooth transitions and final polish to make each scene pop. What I learned: These AI tools open up endless possibilities for creative projects, allowing us to experiment, learn, and bring imaginative ideas to life faster than ever before. AI isn’t just about automating tasks—it’s a powerful learning experience that’s transforming the way we tell stories! I’m abominably excited about where generative AI is heading! Had so much fun quickly combining Midjourney (text-to-image) with the recently-released, ice-cold 🥶 Runway Gen-3 Alpha (image-to-video): —Started with one of my previously generated images in Midjourney: [“yeti, action movie poster style, blizzard, cool cinematic, ominous, lurking, frame subject creatively –ar 16:9 –c 3”] —Used Gen-3 Alpha to bring it to life as a video: [“Scene: giant yeti walking angry through snow capped mountains, glowing eyes, expressive face, large teeth, cold cinematic lighting, slow moving fog, warm breath from mouth, fur blowing in wind, camera movement: hand held, 35mm”] The results (especially in Gen-3’s standard mode) are absolutely incredible. Sure, the yeti is fun (c’mon who wouldn’t love to see this movie!)—but for brand marketers, this tech opens up a world of possibilities, think: –quick storyboards & campaign concepts –personalized video ads –dynamic social content –immersive product demos, etc. The ability to generate high-quality visuals into videos on the fly enhances how we can engage & captivate audiences. GenAI video vignette - “Sarah the Baker" is part of a series I’ve been working on to showcase some experiments with generative video. The narratives, short as they may be, are perfect for testing consistency and styles within a succinct format. Tools used generate this video include: Midjourney: Image generation Pika & Runway: Image to video conversion Eleven Labs: Text-to-Speech Music: Stock Music Adobe Premiere: Editing I included outtakes at the end to showcase generative hiccups and morphing issues. These not only highlight the tech’s current limitations but also shine a light on the creative process. For anyone new to these technologies, the outtakes illustrate that the path to generate something that is usable is going to be iterative and rarely works 'out of the box'. The tech however is constantly evolving, and with each iteration, we’ll see fewer imperfections.
