I got a bit of hate when I started offering one page websites. Here's what a some of the haters showered on me: A one-page website is too simplistic and unprofessional 🎨 A one page website will never get traffic, it has no SEO value 📉 A one page website doesn't offer enough info to convert visitors 🔄 A one-page website won't be taken seriously by clients or investors 💼 A one-page website lacks the depth needed for storytelling or branding 📝 Despite the hate, I've seen firsthand how powerful a well-crafted one-page website can be. To quote my ex-girlfriend: ITS NOT THE SIZE THAT MATTERS, ITS HOW YOU USE IT. And if you're not sure how to use it... Stay tuned for tomorrow's post! 🚀 Until then, I hope you enjoy today. Don't Create a Website for Your Business Here's why: A website is useless if you don’t have a solid foundation: - You lack a clear strategy. - How you're going to use it - You don’t have a plan to drive traffic. - Your business isn’t ready for online clients. - You’re building it just because others have one. Before Building Your Website, You Should: - Develop a clear strategy. - Set specific conversion goals. - Define your business objectives. - Understand how a website will benefit you. - Plan how to drive traffic (SEO, content marketing). These steps will help you maximize the potential of your website. ------------------- Personal Experience: Earlier this year, I created a website for an astrologer who wanted to attract clients online. However, after building the site, I discovered he had no idea how people would find it. He was unwilling to spend any money on promotions and tried to write blog posts. Unfortunately, he stopped after just two weeks because he didn’t see any results. And he never used his website after that.🤦 What do you think about this?

My personal SEO portfolio is all about longevity. These are the 3 things I focus on: 1. Timeless content that adds real value, so I don't need to work on it all the time. 2. Understanding the audience deeply, so I can keep bringing them to these websites and selling the same thing over and over. 3. Building a solid site foundation, with proprietary assets: own templates, designs, logos, etc. I want to be different amongst competitors! That's about it. Might try a test and burn site now, but I can do it only because these assets keep generating for me.

We asked what’s driving your website update… The LOWEST score in our poll was ‘Improving the Contact page’ with only 8% of the vote Yet this page is arguably the MOST important page on your website In fact, if we could have only ONE page, this would be it Here’s why you should focus on this BEFORE you add any more projects or fiddle with SEO ‣ Your entire website should be about selling the value of a conversation with you. Your work alone won’t do this ‣ If there’s no clear reason for people to get in touch they are less likely to bother ‣ When you make chatting with you so valuable people will be falling over themselves to pick your brains - the number of calls you’re booking will increase Take a look at ours and see if you can make some tweaks #contactpage #websiteupdates #websitedesign #creatives

When it comes to your website, ask yourself this hard truth: Is it *resonating enough* with your visitors to get them to 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯? Are you “getting” who your audience 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘴? What they’re going through? How they 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭? The thing is, you can 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 you’re doing *all the right things* to get your website seen. And you 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦. You’re: 👉 Incorporating SEO 👉 Displaying a kick-ass website design 👉 Giving your visitors a hefty discount (just for stopping by) But what about *connecting* with your (prospective) people by speaking their language? Are your website words making them feel like you *understand* what’s happening in their lives? Are you proving what you know (and giving them a reason to trust you)? Do you have any positive testimonials that could sway a visitor to hit *add to cart* or *book now*? 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺: Are you showing them you have 𝘵𝘩𝘦 answer to their problem? If you remember one thing from this post, hold onto this: It’s not enough to have a high-ranking website anymore. We all want to feel connected. To know that someone “gets” us (yes, even if it’s from our favorite toothpaste company). If you scan your website and quickly realize you’re missing most of the above, that’s okay – it’s what I’m here for. 👉 Head to reaganwritescopy.org to see what else I do to help grow your business. 💫 #copywriter #copywritertips #seocopywriter #search #searchengineoptimization #neurofeedbackcopywriter
