Living a life that doesn't set your soul on fire is a big risk. When you choose to move towards your fear, you're rewarded with a hit of dopamine. By its very nature, this happy neurochemical will make you feel good. And in feeling good, you'll be motivated to do it again. With repetition, your brain will build pathways around this habit. Over time, this practice will make you unstoppable. Ever noticed this?

I have noticed this. Your brain just wants to protect you and keep you safe it does not necessarily want the best for you in terms of purpose, satisfaction and goals. I continue to be a work in progress and try and retrain my brain

Jenn Faith and fear are both belief systems. Unbelief is not an option, which one will you chose?

HelloJen Living a life that sets your soul on fire means embracing the risks that come with pursuing your passions and dreams. By moving towards your fears and harnessing the power of dopamine, you can rewire your brain to thrive on challenges and become unstoppable in your pursuit of a fulfilling, joyful life. Remember, the greatest risk is not living at all—take the leap, and watch your life transform.

Yep! Back in 1980 I hiked the Grand Canyon down to Phantom Ranch, stayed overnight, then out the next day. Took a full backpack, and it almost killed me LOL! I wondered why on earth people did this, and I said never again! Three days later I was ready to do it again, which I did about one year later, and it was awesome! Humphreys in Flagstaff was another one. Up to 12,633', and as you know, little oxygen above 11,000', but I did this one three times!

Absolutely, the interplay between fear and growth is fascinating. Embracing challenges often yields unexpected rewards, both in personal fulfilment and professional development. It's a testament to the power of stepping outside our comfort zones and the neuroplasticity of our brains. This practice not only fuels our ambition but also fortifies our resilience, making us more adaptable in an ever-changing landscape.
