A good Cup of Joe, the go-to caffeine fix for many adults, can lift the spirit when prepared well. My favorite way to start my day, whether working or relaxing, is coffee. It gives me that added sense of relaxed mind before tackling whatever my day holds. #businessassistant #marketing #BrandBuilding #SuccessStory #coffeelife #coffee

Im wondering how many hire a car mechanic to fix a chipped tooth or root canal? I have had the best clients in my coming up 10 years of Aunty Helen’s Kitchen. My gift is to see how to create a meal so all come to enjoy a delicious savory meal like home or with friends. Its about inclusion I can dress dishes up with all kinds of wonder but the bottom line is you shouldn’t want just food. Hitting the wow factor is directly connected to our memory with smell and taste. We are human and this is a big world with lots of different tastes. Mexican, Thai, Korean, and some Chinese like spicy food. French, Italian, Greek, German love savory and use many spices but not spicy traditionally. Japanese its all about fresh and quality. American southern love tasty delicious food but not all like the same dishes and have different taste. Then lets not even get into the world of desserts!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Making your event special by creating a delicious meal is what I do. Do I post everything, nope. Why because the big dogs take my ideas and run with it and then I hear. Oh you got this from this famous person. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Your so cute. Now I do get ideas from people to create a new dish or expand a traditional dish because thats how art works. I create. I do not cook for me because you and your guest don’t always fit my personal menu choices and loves. That should be celebrated not thought of as extra work and budget because we all know how many great mechanics are out there. Well just because you can throw a burger on a plate does not mean all burgers are the same. Heck some you can barely find the burger. So ooooo ooooo…. Lets talk. Create a fitting menu to build connection to create a long lasting memory to make your business actually connective. Your guest might love beautiful food but they remember delicious food which isn’t the same for all your guest. Be a great host. Call me and lets make your people feel seen. Feel validated. Feel valued. Trust me 1 great meal starts paving a road words cannot!!! Auntyhelenskitchen.com #connecting #resolvingconflict #teambuilding #catering

So… There’s a Part II. I know—I wasn’t expecting it either. But I got me thinking. Recently, I was introduced to a new perspective on the whole cup runneth over concept. I hear talk about whether the cup is half full or half empty, but what if we’ve been looking at it all wrong? What if what’s in the cup is meant for you and what overflows from it is meant for others? Too often, we feel guilty about taking what we need—like somehow, making sure we’re good first is selfish. But here’s the thing: you can’t pour into anyone else if your own cup is empty. If you’re constantly giving before you’ve had a chance to refill, eventually, you’ll have nothing left. Think about your morning coffee. The cup was poured for you. That’s your energy, your peace, your foundation. And if you need proof of how powerful that is, just look at Starbucks—selling cup after cup, day after day. People don’t just buy coffee, they buy the fuel, the focus, the feeling of being ready for what’s next. That’s what’s inside the cup. And what’s on the outside? That’s the part that spills over—the small talk with the barista, the coffee run for a coworker, the way that morning caffeine jolt helps you show up better for others, the patience you have to manage through your day. So the real question isn’t is your cup half full or half empty? It’s are you topped off, ready for a refill, or do you have some to give? Because today, too many people are just going through the motions—scurrying from one thing to the next, stretching themselves thin to check off every box on life's to-do list. Running, grinding, accomplishing… but never stopping to refill, to enjoy, to be present. And when that happens, when you’ve given everything without replenishing yourself, even your best efforts feel like they’re not enough. So take a moment. Drink what’s yours first. Let yourself fill up—without guilt—so when the time comes to pour into others, you’re giving from a place of abundance, not exhaustion. #tellisaboutit #inspiration #cuprunnethover

Farewell Whisky Case... Those of you who know me, have seen me, or followed here, know about the whisky/whiskey case(s) that have followed me around various conferences, continents, and meeting for years. Many also know about the collection, or at least what the collection was at one point in time. Which brings me to today... The number of bottles has ebbed and flowed with both life choices, conferences, and travels. Fighting the fight for partial time with my daughter, and the mess with a former company took its toll on the collection to the tune of about 570 bottles. (Lawyers are expensive) Separating and dissolving Hillbilly Hit Squad, thus the founding individuals going their separate way, took another few hundred bottles (and 2/3 of the watches) Consolidating, moving across country, and other factors means that I've got about 75 bottles or so left, most of which are unopened, and simply staring at me wondering "what's next" Which is ironic because I have no desire to drink them. I wandered around Gin and Tonic for a while, I called it "experimenting" which was myself fooling myself for drinking it like water. But now done with that, and simply find myself these days with a light tonic (Fever-Tree) and either a dash of lemon or lime, if not a cuppa tea, or quite simply just water. In short I'm done, no more alcohol. The cases have been retired, the contents will be dealt with, and I'm going to work out what to do, or where/how to sell the remaining bottles. I'll claim back the cupboard space, and likely you'll find me with a well stocked tea chest and a kettle the next time we meet. Why? Simply because Why? Health reasons Why? Life choices Why? Tech and alcohol are strange bedfellows Why? Tea is easier to transport 'all for now Chris #mentalhealth #technology #infosec #ciso #life #drinking #whisky #whiskey #bourbon #health #wine
