It's that time of year again... companies are releasing their gender equity reports, every second bus stop you pass has a broad smiling woman with a snazzy slogan about how progressive their company is and of course, the the big guns... International women's Day themed cupcakes 🧁 And you're left thinking: 🙄 Shoot how did this sneak up... again? 🙄 What is with this annual amnesia? 🙄 Why don't I feel a sense of anticipation and excitement leading up to this day?  Turns out it takes a little more than some good stats and sweet frosting to feel a sense of connection. You don't love Christmas for the Pavlova after all (although it is high on the list). You love a day or a celebration because of the narrative that surrounds it - the memories, the feelings it evokes. It means something. So as you're munching on the free food, passively scrolling through the tsunami of IWD posts, we challenge you to think 🤔 What does the 8th of March, IWD means to you? 🥸 What role do you play in this story? 🥳 How do you uplift and celebrate the women in your life?  Use today to set intentions, start conversations, and give some shout outs to those women that make your life a little brighter as well as those that lift women a little higher - whether that be through mentoring, supporting and subscribing to women empowerment podcasts, etc 😜 Because women and the 8th of March IWD are worth celebrating!  Happy International Women's Day everyone 💜

When we collaborate instead of compete, we don't just take seats – we build bigger tables. I've witnessed this magic firsthand. Every time women come together – whether it's sharing resources, making introductions, or simply offering a "you've got this" – we create ripples that turn into waves of change. Think about it: • Who was the last woman who opened a door for you? • Which woman's success genuinely made you celebrate? • When did you last reach out to lift another woman up? The truth? Community isn't just nice to have – it's necessary to thrive. In boardrooms and living rooms, in career pivots and life transitions, we grow stronger together. This isn't just about professional networking. It's about creating spaces where we can be authentic, vulnerable, and ambitious without apology. Where "How can I help?" replaces "What's in it for me?"
