I’d add #8 - your PR team is honest with you. They speak truth to power, and will tell a client what they need to hear: when messaging is off, company spokesperson can’t cut it, the CEO is unprepared, etc. This is a relationship that depends on trust - honesty is a crucial part of building that trust.
