How do you get consumers to buy your products when you are trying to deliver against a sustainability agenda? Make them "irresistibly superior and more sustainable" Consumers buy experiences. If you need to make changes to your product or packaging to align with your sustainability goals, then put the emphasis on creating a superior experience, which also happens to be sustainable. "Lead with performance and build in sustainability as part of it". Virginie Helias shares some wonderful examples of how they at Procter & Gamble are centering their sustainability agenda on this premise, from stripping down the number of ingredients in shampoo to washing detergent that works in cool water (saving energy usage).
