VFX enthusiasts, check out this crystal cluster flying over a house in a VFX breakdown from "Don't forget". Maya was used as the engine and Arnold as the renderer to remap stills of the house, fence, and ground onto geometry rebuilt in their respective shapes. A quick tip for those wanting to render many crystals: reflection and refraction can take quite a while to render, so plan accordingly.
