Just chaired 2 sessions with; - Pekka Tiikkainen, who presented on "IMPALA update and details of the recently released Clinical Trial Anomaly Spotter (CTAS) open source package". This tool can be used by functions such as Clinical Quality Assurance for choosing sites for audit or for Clinical Monitoring groups to spot anomalous data at investigator sites. Fascinating talk and a great initiative from Bayer. Now also a collaborative effort within IMPALA (Inter coMPany quALity Analytics). - Haleh Valian PhD on the topic of "Use of AI in Regulatory Intelligence", where AI is being piloted to review changes to pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines and see if there are internal documents such as SOPs which need to be updated as a result of the changes and what those changes could be.

Really interesting PLM slides of the german pope of PLM Martin Eigner Thanks for posting the complete deck, sharing is caring 🙏 I recently met Markus Meier from Arena PLM. Key take away I want to share: For me PLM was long time an unwanted third management system next to PDM and ERP. Again with the need of proper connectors to persue the Single source of truth concept. Markus Meier gave me a great insight of using PLM tools to manage the second and third lifes of products (i.e. Refurbishing an eBike, a taxi, using the batteries for energy-storages...). Then my mind really started opening to PLM, because this can reduce waste and generate more value, just with more proper management. 😎🙌🚀

As 2024 comes to a close, and we look to 2025, I’m focused on my “Misogi Challenge” for the year. Always inspired by Jesse Itzler and his approach to life, I was really drawn to this one. The “Misogi Challenge” is about doing something so tough, once a year, that it shapes how you live the rest of your 364 days. I’ve been doing this for many (many) years and it has shifted my mindset to one of building a Life Resume.
