Deposit Return Schemes (#DRS)- an area we are well familiar with at Fieldfisher, having advised a large number of drinks clients on this turbulent road! Some points for all UK drinks businesses to note (hot off yesterday’s policy statement)… 💡There will be three DRSs in the UK (one in England and Northern Ireland, one in Wales and one in Scotland) with (potentially) separate deposit management organisations, but maximum alignment and interoperability between the three 💡What that looks like in practice is still not 💯 unclear, but we’re expecting: 💡All DRSs to include drinks containers made of PET, steel and aluminium cans. The position on glass will be set out separately. 💡All to include drinks containers of 150ml to 3 litres. Outside of this you’ll be caught by Extended Producer Responsibility for packaging (packaging EPR). 💡A single registration and reporting process across all DRSs 💡A single DRS logo across the UK and a single deposit level You’ve still got time to prepare (it kicks in from Oct 2027) but you need a long lead time (we know this from our experience on the Scottish and Irish DRS!). We’ve got lots more insights to share so get in touch if you’re looking for a steer.

Update to Fentanyl Exposure in BC Many of you may have noticed the update to the fentanyl TLV in the 2025 TLV book; for those that automatically adopt the most recent TLVs this becomes the new standard. But for those in BC, WorkSafeBC announced recently that they would not be adopting the new STEL of 0.0002 mg/m3 (inhalable) due to sampling limitations. I suspect that will be an issue for many. For those (like us) that more typically rely on wipe sampling, there is also the 0.001 mg/100 cm2 surface limit in the TLV book as well. A link to the WorkSafeBC update can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gxrfFNpk #fentanyl, #pinchin

REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 5/5 Joris S. « Thanks to BFL, I was able to find an efficient solution and install an I.P.G unit to solve my problems with saltpetre and damp. The unit was exactly what I was expected, the correspondence went well, the explanations were clear and above all very reassuring. I would have never thought a unit with no mains supply could dry out my walls. After scrapping the saltpetre off my walls, I could repaint the room which I haven’t been able to use for few years. » Thank you to our customer for their trust. 🙏 Find out more about our range of devices and solutions : 🔗 link in bio Contact our Team 📲 +33 259 100 366 or ✉️ contact@bfl-international.com #bfl #bflinternational #customerreview #review #trustpilot #trustpilotreview #ipe #ipepro #damp #damphouse #dampness #damtreatment #risingdamp #international
