#Reminder: 🧱 Brick orders run through Sunday, March 31. 🧱 🧱 Leave a lasting legacy to a family member or loved one that served in a branch of the United States Armed Forces with the Town of Jupiter’s Veterans Memorial Legacy Brick program. 🧱 The Town of Jupiter Veterans Memorial was opened in 2020 and is dedicated to remembering and honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, as well as those Gold Star families who have had a loved one make the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. How the Legacy Brick Program will work: 🧱 Each brick will have two options: 1. A message with no branch insignia: these bricks will include four (4) lines of text, with a maximum of 21 characters per line. 2. A message containing a branch insignia: these bricks will include an insignia of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard as well as four (4) lines of text with 15 characters per line. • All bricks will be a red charcoal color to match the current bricks found at the Veterans Memorial. • Each brick will cost $100, which will include the production of the brick as well as its installation. • Space is limited and bricks will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. If the space sells out, the Town will explore additional areas after the completion of the construction of the new Town Hall building. 🚫 No political statements will be allowed as a part of this memorial program. Use Advising and Degree Progress Tools to monitor their academic journey, especially for those using GI Bill benefits with strict time limits. 6. Career and Job Placement Support Implement Career Services Integration within PeopleSoft to offer veterans career counseling, job placement services, and access to a network of veteran-friendly employers. Use Job Placement Tracking and Career Pathway Tools to support veterans' transition from education to career. 7. Enhanced Communication and Outreach Set up Automated Communication Plans tailored to veterans, sending reminders about deadlines, resources, and workshops. Use Text Messaging and Email Notifications within PeopleSoft to keep veterans informed about upcoming events, benefits updates, and academic milestones. By leveraging PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to create a supportive, veteran-friendly environment, your institution can empower veteran students to achieve academic and career success, helping them transition smoothly from military to civilian life.

In my journey from an Armor officer to my current role in the tech industry, these values have been my North Star. Loyalty teaches us to stand by our teams and our principles. Duty reminds us of our obligations to our community and nation. Respect fosters understanding and collaboration in diverse environments. Selfless Service encourages us to put the needs of others before our own. Honor compels us to adhere to our moral compass. Integrity ensures our actions align with our words. Personal Courage emboldens us to face challenges, both physical and moral. These values shape leaders who can navigate complexity, drive innovation, and inspire others - whether in uniform or in civilian life. To my fellow veterans: Your service matters.
