Stop things before they happen. The solution displayed in the video below is a great example of how powerful visualisation is. The drivers don’t stop their vehicles because they think the pedestrian is actually going to throw the brick through their windshield. They stop because the pedestrian CAN throw it through their windshield. In other words, if actions have consequences it influences the decision making process heavily. A GOOD corporate or family security program works the same way. If you can show your adversaries that actions have consequences, they will think twice before making a move. A BETTER corporate or family security program not only demotivates an adversary, it also prevents trouble from adversaries after they thought twice. I actually like the concept. If the people who do not pay attention to how they cross the road pay attention to the process, it will help at least one half of the accident equation stand a chance. I would like it better if the bricks incorporated a method to interrupt the cell phone signal of the person who will knock them (and their rubber brick) back across the bridge. 😎 As a side note: What happens if one side of the street crossing has no bricks available?

📌 More than a form of deterrence, some security policies seem to be simple invitations to violence. If we continue to conceive security in this way, we risk only fueling existing tensions. It's like if, faced with an attack with a stick, we arm ourselves with a knife, and if attacked with a knife, we arm ourselves with a gun. The approach of Intelligence Security should be different: proactive, multitasking, focused on prevention. Otherwise, we risk creating a climate of anxiety, mistrust, and mutual distrust. The solution ⁉️ The concept of the "third party", namely the state, which should implement effective preventive measures of protection and deterrence, thus legitimizing its operational actions. #SecurityPolicy #ViolenceInvitation #ProactiveApproach #Prevention #IntelligenceSecurity #ThirdPartyConcept #StateResponsibility #ProtectionMeasures #Deterrence #MutualTrust #Anxiety #Mistrust #HolisticInsightsPersonalFeedback #SocialIntelligenceAnalyst
