Accessibility and Neuroinclusion are life-saving. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I just read this post by Isabel Mavrides-Calderon and a grief tsunami knocked me out. I work primarily in the corporate sector training and co-creating neuroinclusive culture and workplaces and also, I do this work so our next generations coming up after us can experience safer, accessible, and more equitable lives. From Isabel: "It is critical that individualized emergency plans be legally binding. There is a bill in Virginia created by @disabled_disrupters it may not be nation wide but it is a start and if passed could start a trend in other states. Tell your reps to support it!" https://lnkd.in/guZipbs4

In line with Prevent Child Abuse America's Theory of Change and our commitment to "Centering Families in Decision-Making," Colorado is leading an inspiring project that puts lived experts at the heart of their work. This initiative focuses on meaningful engagement, with lived experts advising on program implementation, reviewing educational curricula, advocating for policy changes, and driving systems change. Colorado’s work highlights the importance of co-designing strategies and navigating key operational considerations like compensation, contracting, and sharing decision-making power to truly create change. Together, we’re making a difference. Illuminate Colorado #CenteringFamilies #SystemsChange #PreventChildAbuse
