Our Magmaflo Range – Self-Priming Positive Displacement Pumps The Magmaflo Range is engineered and manufactured by Lakeside Equipment. These self-priming, positive displacement pumps feature a simple rotary sliding vane design, making them ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications. Magmaflo pumps are capable of handling liquids with varying viscosities—everything from free-flowing fuels and light oils to more challenging materials like heavy-duty bitumen tars and molasses. In just one hour, a Magmaflo pump can move up to 180m³ of liquid, with viscosities ranging from 1,000 cP to 44,000 cP. This impressive performance makes them an invaluable solution for industries that demand reliability and versatility in fluid handling. For over 42 years, Lakeside Equipment has been at the forefront of revolutionizing the pumping industry, designing robust and efficient solutions for the most demanding environments. In the photo below, our RV100 pump is being delivered to a sugar mill in Africa—demonstrating our global reach and commitment to providing high-quality pumping solutions worldwide. #Pumpingsolutions #Molasses #Sugarindustry #RotaryVane #Pumps #liquidmovers

Did you know that hose #pumps can pump higher density slurries than centrifugal pumps? This is because the pump design allows pumping slurries with up to 60-80% solids content. In many processes, one piece of #Flowrox LPP-T100 hose pump can pump as much as several smaller pumps all together. Flowrox pumps do not require any breaks, as they can keep working continuously 24/7 without overheating, thanks to the roller design that minimizes friction and heat. These pumps are ideal for several #mining and minerals applications, such as thickener underflow duties. If #pulsation creates challenges to the process or working environment, check out Flowrox Expulse: a flexible inline pulsation dampener which quiets noise while settling pressures peaks and uneven flows. As a result it absorbs up to 90% of pulsations and saves up to 10% of energy by temporarily storing it to the flexible inner hose and filler gas. https://lnkd.in/dt5c3Fjx #Valmet #ValmetFlowControl #Reliability #thickenerunderflow

Slurry pumping is a tough job. But some slurries come with extra challenges. Frothy and shear-sensitive slurries are two examples that can cause a headache. It’s a headache our KREBS® hMAX™ centrifugal slurry pumps were designed to cure. With an open-vortex recessed impeller design, hMAX pumps allow clear passage of frothy slurries without air locking. They also minimize degradation of shear-sensitive materials – such as carbon used in gold leaching applications. And the wear life? A heavy-duty concentric casing design reduces radial loads, extending the life of the pump, bearings, and seals. If you’ve found what you’ve heard so far interesting, check out the latest blog from our pump expert Roman van Ommen, where he dives deeper into the innovative design and benefits of the hMAX pumps 👇 https://lnkd.in/dWZUk3R7 #SlurryPumps #Pumps #hMAX #FLS

USA: Ceramic Vortex Finder Rollout Gains Momentum We’re excited to share that production is in full swing at our facility in Denmark as we prepare to supply even more Ceramic Vortex Finders (CVFs) to cement plants across North America – and beyond – in the coming months! Recent feedback from installations worldwide confirms that the Ceramic Vortex Finder is delivering reliable performance across all regions. One such case comes from a 3,000 TPD cement plant in the southeastern USA, operating on natural gas and incorporating 5% alternative fuel in the form of tires. The plant had been facing short lifespans in its lowest-stage cyclone steel thimble (dip tube) and even opted to run without one due to persistent issues. Seeking a durable and reliable solution, they turned to HASLE. Following the installation of a HASLE CVF in March 2024, an inspection during the scheduled shutdown in July confirmed that the CVF remains in excellent condition and continues to operate reliably to this day. The HASLE Ceramic Vortex Finder (CVF) consists of standardized, interlocking precast shapes designed to form a stable cylinder suspended from a steel ring welded to the roof casing o the cyclone. Engineered to endure the harsh conditions of cyclones operating at elevated temperatures and utilizing alternative fuels, the CVF offers significant performance improvements over traditional steel dip tubes. ✅ Withstands temperatures up to 1200 °C / 2200 °F ✅ Enables sustainable fuel conversion through excellent resistance to chemical attacks ✅ High dimensional stability prevents deformation, ensuring high separation efficiency ✅ Excellent abrasion resistance for longer durability Discover how the HASLE Ceramic Vortex Finder can enhance your plant’s operations by visiting our website or reaching out to our team at hasle@hasle-refractories.com. #RefractorySolutions #AlternativeFuels #InnovationInCement

𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁! A Swedish company working in a quarry in the Stockholm region has discovered a way to extend the working lifetime of a PRORIL pump even further! The company tested a small PRORIL TANK and found it to be cost-effective. Our distributor, calculated the flow: a vertical pump head of 15 meters, with a total length of 450 meters in 4-inch piping, indicated that both the TANK 475 and TANK 4110 were suitable solutions. Installing these electric submersible pumps inside the ingeniously designed upside-down pontoon, as shown above, prevents mud and sand from entering the pump. This reduces the risk of sedimentation in the piping, thereby lowering maintenance costs. Additionally, our pumps were found to be more energy-efficient compared to those they replaced, further reducing operating costs and resulting in an overall lower life cycle cost! Quarry water sometimes has a low pH value, which can be highly corrosive and damaging to standard pump materials. To address this issue, PRORIL has designed specialized stainless steel submersible pumps. #Submersiblepumps #Watermanagement #Dewateringpumps #Pumping
