Hello #connections , ✨ The 21-day #geekstreak2024 POTD challenge is finally completed! I am thrilled to announce that I have completed the 21-day POTD challenge on GeeksforGeeks powered by Deutsche Bank! ✨ This has been the most enjoyable, as well as the most fun challenge that I have ever attempted, as this has tested my consistency over the past 21 days since the day I started the POTD challenge, and the journey has been nothing short of fruitful! The 21-day POTD streak significantly sharpened both my technical and analytical skills. Each challenge pushed me to think critically and develop solutions that were not only efficient but also effective. This experience helped me break down complex scenarios into manageable parts and approach them systematically. As a result, I became more confident in tackling tasks outside my comfort zone and broadened my expertise across multiple domains, rather than focusing solely on one area. This preparation has allowed me to approach future challenges with greater flexibility and adaptability. One of the most valuable outcomes of this streak was how it solidified my daily discipline and helped me overcome procrastination. The habit of solving problems every day improved my focus, time management, and structured approach to tackling various challenges—skills essential for any student or professional. What stood out the most was the exposure to real-world, industry-relevant problems. Backed by a reputable institution like Deutsche Bank, the problems were closely aligned with practical applications, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world scenarios. This made the learning experience even more meaningful and purposeful. Finally, this 21-day streak not only boosted my confidence but also fueled my motivation to keep solving more complex challenges every day. It reinforced my belief that continuous effort and persistence are key to mastering problem-solving across various domains. I want to extend my thanks to GeeksforGeeks and Deutsche Bank again for organizing the wonderful challenge, and for providing such a valuable learning platform that continues to inspire and motivate me to push my limits and grow every day. I am eager to build on this experience and apply the skills I’ve developed to new challenges, making meaningful contributions to future projects. #geekstreak2024 #deutschebank

✨ Increasing Influence and Driving Impact - Key Steps to Progressing Your Career in Tech ✨ A key takeaway was the power of an abundance mindset over a scarcity mindset. In a world that often focuses on scarcity and competition, cultivating an ABUNDANCE MINDSET can truly be a game-changer. It's about shifting our perspective from a mindset of limitation to one of infinite possibilities. Thank you, Namrata Sarmah (Nam), for sharing such valuable insights. One of the most remarkable aspects about being in a position to spotlight remarkable early-career engineering talent is that they give you too much credit for where they are now. I meet Hack.Diversity Fellows who might get prematurely filtered out when they apply directly to a job posting. Yet, in an environment that recognizes Fellows for the trailblazers they are, Host Companies are competing to make the best offers. Same individual. Same resume. Same hunger. Same growth mindset. Same commitment. Just a different lens of asset-based evaluation guided by the Hack team. Fast forward a few years, and OG Hack.Diversity Alumni are now people managers, hiring managers, tech team leads, on track to be CTOs, brainstorming and workshopping the next unicorn ideas. And they remember how when during a time of automated rejection after rejection, you backed them and kept telling others about their strengths and contributions. And in few more years, if I should be so lucky, they would hire ME to work for them. Looking at you Jarry Ngandjui, Rosviny Felix, Josue V., Andrea Mock, Khalil K., Ludmyla Almeida, Asmeret Petros just to name a few. If your team is interested to interview a few of our talented Fellows to contribute to your software or data work this summer, let’s connect! DM me here, or email me at aliu@hackdiversity.com. Warning — anticipate proudly saying "the pupil has surpassed the teacher" in a few years. Hope our egos can take it. Our impact speaks for itself: https://lnkd.in/e8x_Wzym
