Last week, National Physical Laboratory (NPL) delegates were in Edinburgh for the Single Photon Workshop (SPW) 2024, the world’s largest conference dedicated to single photon generation, detection and applications to answers this question. 📢Our latest endeavor: the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC) has recently submitted a joint response to the European Commission's paper on Dual Use Technology, widely agreeing with option 2 that removes the exclusive focus on civil applications in selected parts of the successor programme to Horizon Europe. Quench Project at #EQTC2024 conference in Lisbon, organized by Quantum Flagship! 💎 As part of the conference, we participated in a Clustering Event organized by AMIRES, focused on diamond as a foundational material/technology in quantum innovation. A special highlight was Olly Whaites, one of speakers, who delivered excellent insights into the Quench Project's goals and progress.
