JIS UNIVERSITY SIGNS MoU WITH CHITKARA UNIVERSITY, PUNJAB JIS University has entered into a strategic partnership with Chitkara University, Punjab, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering educational and academic collaboration between the two institutions. The MoU was signed by Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, on behalf of JIS University, and Prof. Dr. Thakur Gurjeet Singh, Dean of Chitkara College of Pharmacy, representing Chitkara University. Dr. Himangshu S. Maji, Dean-Academics, JISU was also present on the occasion. This agreement aims to strengthen ties between the two institutions, enabling the exchange of faculty, researchers, and students, promoting joint research initiatives, and facilitating the sharing of academic knowledge and resources. The impactful utilization of the Mini Science Centre at Jyangra Adarsha Vidyalaya (H.S), Baguiati, Kolkata, West Bengal. Supported by Schindler India as part of their CSR initiative in the education sector, this initiative is empowering students with hands-on learning experiences that bring textbook concepts to life.  . One of the highlights of this Mini Science Centre is the Human Joint Models, which helps students explore and understand the mechanics of human anatomy in a way that's both practical and engaging. By interacting with these models, learners gain a deeper comprehension of complex topics like joint movement, structure, and functionality, making their lessons truly come alive.  . This hands-on approach to education is not just enhancing academic knowledge but also fostering critical thinking and curiosity among the students. I am happy to share an exciting collaboration between Vishwakarma University - VU and the @Shenoy Innovation Center led by Dr B K Chakravarthy at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. This collaboration marks a significant step towards addressing societal and industry challenges through innovative solutions. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Chakravarty, the Shenoy Innovation Center has been at the forefront of driving innovation and fostering an ecosystem of problem-solving at IIT Mumbai. Now, with the partnership of VU, we aim to expand the scope of our impact and leverage our combined expertise to tackle pressing issues facing our society and industries. At the core of this collaboration lies the unique 7C model, a framework designed to facilitate comprehensive problem-solving. Through this model, faculty members from VU will collaborate closely, bringing together their diverse skill sets and perspectives to address complex challenges. I am particularly excited about the active participation of both students and teachers in this initiative. Their enthusiasm and creativity will be instrumental in identifying innovative solutions and driving meaningful change. Already, discussions have been underway, with problem statements identified and potential solutions explored. This collaborative effort holds immense promise, and I am confident that it will yield impactful outcomes that benefit society at large.
