IYCTC (Indonesian Youth Council for Tactical Changes) is a coalition of young people working to control addictive tobacco products in Indonesia in an inclusive and meaningful way. This coalition was established to accommodate the participation of diverse youth in tobacco control issues in Indonesia. The name IYCTC (Indonesian Youth Council for Tobacco Control) was agreed upon and formed on February 20th 2021, through a virtual deliberation attended by 50 youth representatives and IYCTC initiators from 43 organizations/communities from 20 cities. In 2023, IYCTC changed to the Indonesian Youth Council for Tactical Changes (IYCTC). This change was based on the results of the IYCTC II Forum held on April 1st 2024. "Tactical changes" means pioneering tactical changes from various lines and scales. These changes start at the community level and extend to policy changes across stakeholders. As of 2024, IYCTC represents 45 organizations/communities. IMPLEMENTATION OF SADC RULES OF ORIGION ON TRADE PROTOCOL Delegate Ms. Maliengoane Mothabeng an associate member of LCCI has been elected to represent US on the Validation Workshop on the SADC Rules of Origin Verification for Guidelines for the implementation of Annex I for the Protocol on Trade in Johannesburg, South Africa from 20-22 February 2024. The implementation of the SADC Rules of Origin in SADC is meant to support the implementation of the Industrialization Strategy and Roadmap, especially in the development of value chains by addressing the impediments to the movement of goods across the region and reducing the cost of doing business. #voiceofbusiness #promotingbusiness
