Discount driven close in Auto sector? Auto industry is grappling with high inventory levels, with some dealerships holding 40-50 days of stock. This, combined with sluggish post-festive demand, might lead to deep discounts and promotions as manufacturers and dealers aim to clear inventory. Why? 1. Passenger vehicle sales dropped 14% YoY in November, while inventory adjustments have been insufficient. 2. Entry-level cars are facing growing competition from the used car market. . With year-end targets approaching, aggressive discounts could make this a great time to grab a deal. . What’s your take? Will discounts boost sales, or are deeper challenges at play? #AutoIndustry #BusinessInsights #MarketTrends
