The non-alarming models, such as the Dexcom product recently FDA cleared, for people not using insulin or experiencing hypo unawareness may be useful for lifestyle modification related to weight and type 2 diabetes prevention or remission. More research needed! But I’m always in favor of guidelines, policies, and funding to get CGM in the arms of folks with diabetes first. 💪
