😢 It's hard to see so many talented, passionate, and driven professionals who were apart of these layoffs. Is it worth loosing these employees over cost cutting initiatives? How needed were these layoffs compared to the value and impact these professionals brought to the organization? 💡 I found a great Rice University article that gives an IO Psychologist perspective on layoffs and important topics or questions to think about. I hope that other companies can better reflect, or consult an IO Psychologist, before conducting mass corporate layoffs.
