How do we stay safe around electricity in a construction site? Electricity is a vital part of any construction project, but it also poses significant risks if not handled with care. Here are essential tips for construction workers to ensure safety around electrical systems on site: 1. Always wear insulated gloves, rubber-soled boots, and other protective gear while on site. It is crucial when working near electrical components. 2. Familiarize yourself with the location of all electrical cables, wiring, and power lines before starting work. Avoid working close to live wires whenever possible. 3. Ensure all tools are properly insulated to prevent accidental electrical shocks. 4. Water and electricity are a deadly combination. Ensure the work area is dry, and avoid using electrical tools in wet conditions. 5. Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure that electrical equipment is de-energized before maintenance or repair work begins. 6. Always maintain a safe distance from overhead power lines and use a spotter when working near them. 7.Continuous safety training on electrical hazards and the latest safety protocols is essential for all workers. Safety is everyone's responsibility. #ConstructionSafety #ElectricalSafety #WorkplaceSafety #ConstructionIndustry #kbctfieu

Scissor lifts can be hazardous if not used properly. Here are some common hazards and safety tips to help you work safely with scissor lifts: Common Hazards: 1. Falls from heights 2. Crushing or pinching by moving parts 3. Tip-overs or instability 4. Electrical hazards (e.g., overhead power lines) 5. Overloading or exceeding weight capacity 6. Entrapment between lift and other objects 7. Failure to follow safety procedures Safety Tips: 1. Always follow manufacturer instructions and guidelines. 2. Ensure proper training and certification before operating a scissor lift. 3. Conduct pre-operational checks on the lift and ensure all safety features are functioning correctly. 4. Use personal fall protection equipment (PFPE) and ensure proper harness attachment. 5. Maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand). 6. Never lean over the side or overreach. 7. Keep the work area clear of obstacles and tripping hazards. 8. Use outriggers or stabilizers as needed to prevent tip-overs. 9. Be aware of overhead obstructions and power lines. 10. Regularly inspect and maintain the scissor lift to ensure proper function. 11. Use proper lifting techniques and avoid sudden movements. 12. Never exceed the maximum weight capacity or platform height. Additional Tips: - Ensure proper communication with coworkers and signal persons. - Use warning signs and barricades to secure the work area. - Regularly review and update your safety procedures. - Consider using safety accessories like lift-leveling devices or load-sensing systems.

⚠ This safety equipment is vital for high-voltage protection. It can be applied in various scenarios. 🔝 For example, in industrial plants where large machinery operates at these voltages, it's used during maintenance to prevent unexpected power restoration. In construction sites with temporary power setups, it ensures the safety of workers when working on electrical circuits. 🔓 The operation is simple. Disconnect the power, attach the component securely to the breaker, and lock it. ❗ It's crucial for a safe work environment. 🌐 Website:www.chinalockout.com 📧 Email:elecpopular01@chinalockout.com 🔈 whatsapp:+86 19032040152 #SafetyLocks #Safety #WorkSafety #LOTO #AccidentPrevention #Elecpopularsafetyproducts

#UwahEmmanuel, the designs of FIeld Auxiliary Room Building and Electrical Building that I reviewed for Train 7 project have the blast walls. They are 150 or 200mm thick reinforced concrete with a minimum of 5m height. The operations and/or assets team of Trains 1 to 3 can have a review and recommend this to be incorporated (if it is not yet in existence). The main challenge might be cable entry paths into the building in the transformer area that might obstruct the construction of the blast walls. #NLNGtrain7 #NLNG #SHELL #TOTAL
