Jobs Bundaberg’s Post

Jobs Bundaberg reposted this

Bundy students have been on the tools this week as part of our Queensland Manufacturing Hubs’ Manufacturing Trade Ready Program! Nine students from Bundaberg State High School and Kepnock High School are participating in the four-week course, which provides accredited training and on-the-job experience to help them hit the ground running in the manufacturing sector. This week, students have been making an adjustable welder’s stool and refining their welding skills supported by hands-on training from My Industry Training. They’ll soon be moving on to work experience with local manufacturing businesses Superior Pak, Aletek, SS Engineering, Almac Trailers, Beasley's - Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Engineering, ACE Fabrication and Caneland Engineering. We’re thrilled to see these manufacturers-to-be getting apprenticeship-ready, gaining practical skills and real insights into the industry. Shoutout to Link and Launch and Jobs Bundaberg who have partnered with our Manufacturing Hub to deliver the program.
