Well this estimate that we audited proved VERY successful 💪 Want to know what the bodyshop missed? 1. New door required and they didn't have blends down on the 1/4 or wing, this is very important for tartan paint types as it's very difficult to match. 2. The flux capacitor had been damaged and was leaking everywhere, they could have put in z99 "Radiation precautions" and "PPE" as well as time for clearing up the mess. 3. The headlight had been replaced but these do NOT come with headlight fluid, again, could have charged £25 in specialist for this. 4. The OSF tyre had been replaced which looking fresh would have made the old tyre stand out like a sore thumb, so time added in for "Polish Tyre" including materials. As you can see, the £50 Audit charged gave a massive ROI for this and the repairer learned a thing or two along the way with our detailed reports to apply for future jobs. Interesting numberplate on this one too? APR1L F00? 😁 #bodyshop #autobody #autobodyrepair #autobodyandpaint #accidentrepair #estimator #autobodyshop #automotive

First of month protip: Make a safety walk around checklist for each vehicle. On the checklist you need an entry for the following: 1. Headlights 2. Tail lights 3. Turn signals (Front) 4. Turn signals (Rear) 5. Brake lights 6. Tire inflation 7. Tread Wear (Check with a penny or buy the guage) 8. Wipers (Smear and clear test) 9. Oil level (Check color and the level) 10. Tag light 11. Cyclops brake light (If equipped) Each month at a minimum walk the vehicle and note the pass/fail. Replace immediately if failing. On tail lights, brake lights, turn signals buy an extra bulb and write on the package what it goes to. Put this in your glove box with a pair of mechanics gloves. When filling up each week take note of the lights pass/fail state particuliarly. Your safety and the safety of others around you depend on being consistent with these safety walks. Enjoy 2025.

In the production of billions of cans annually, even small differences in can wall thickness can accumulate over time. To uphold the peak performance of Bodymakers in can manufacturing facilities, it is imperative to accurately size tool packs. These packs, comprising punches and dies, must be meticulously matched before entering the Bodymaker. This precision guarantees optimal operation of the Bodymaker, thereby decreasing downtime and mitigating spoilage in the end product. #qualitycontrol #manufacturingprecision #processoptimization #productquality

YS-Z range of system wrenches (5 ~ 80 Nm) YOKOTA impulse wrenches are widely used for tightening jobs in the assembly industry, where accurate torque tolerances are necessary. Impulse tools are light, powerful, small and very importantly, have no kick-back. Product liability is essential to carmakers. All tightened joints have to be correct. For this reason bolted joints must be documented and, tightened with the right clamp force. For this, you need an impulse wrench (with a built-in torque transducer and angle-encoder on the main shaft) connected to a controller. If the controller establishes that tightened joints do not meet specifications, it can give a line-stop signal and the joints can be checked manually. https://lnkd.in/eZEpUprG Brake pad repair is a common maintenance task in auto repair shops. Here’s a general overview of the process: Diagnosis: The technician will inspect the brake system to determine if the brake pads need to be replaced. Signs that indicate the pads need replacement include squealing noises, grinding sounds, or reduced braking performance. Wheel Removal: The technician will lift the vehicle and remove the wheels to access the brake components. Brake Pad Inspection: The technician will inspect the brake pads for wear. If the pads are too thin or worn unevenly, they will need to be replaced. Caliper Removal: The technician will remove the caliper, which houses the brake pads, from the rotor. The caliper is usually held in place by bolts. Pad Replacement: The old brake pads will be removed from the caliper, and new brake pads will be installed. The technician may also replace the brake hardware (e.g., clips, shims) at this time. Caliper Reinstallation: Once the new pads are in place, the caliper will be reinstalled over the rotor and secured with bolts. Brake Bleeding (if necessary): If the brake system was opened during the repair, the technician may need to bleed the brakes to remove any air bubbles from the brake lines. Wheel Installation: The wheels will be reinstalled, and the lug nuts will be tightened to the manufacturer’s specifications. Test Drive: The technician will test the brakes to ensure they are functioning properly. They will listen for any unusual noises and check for smooth braking performance. Final Inspection: A final inspection will be performed to ensure everything is in order before returning the vehicle to the customer. It’s important to have brake pad repairs done by a qualified technician, as the brakes are a critical safety component of your vehicle.
