What are the benefits of social media for leaders? Why should they engage online? How can they justify the time? There are many reasons. Posts from CEO’s are up 23% on LinkedIn and they get 4X’s more engagement than the rest of us. In case you haven’t felt the walls closing in, more and more companies are realizing they can no longer rely on marketing and sales teams to bring home the bread. The reality is: 👉 82% of consumers are more likely to trust a company who’s leadership is active on social media. 👉 79% of employees are more likely to work for a CEO who uses social media 👉 Content created by executives and employees is 24x more likely to be reshared 👉 70% of consumers feel more connected to brands when their CEO’s are visible on social platforms As more companies focus on automating processes and replacing human elements, the more lonelier and disconnected society is going to feel. This is why your voice matters now more than ever.

Your Voice Matters Ditch the Buzzwords Share the Real You on LinkedIn Let's ditch the "amplify your brand" and "thought leadership" talk for a second. Think about the awesome projects you're working on the unique skills you bring to the table and the experiences you've had on your career journey. Sharing that authentic you on LinkedIn, through employee advocacy is powerful. and here's why 1. You're a human, not a hashtag. People connect with people not corporate speak. Sharing your genuine perspective builds trust and shows potential candidates what it's really like to work at your company. 2. Knowledge is power (and so is sharing it). Got insights on your industry? Share them! It positions you as an expert helps others learn and strengthens your professional network. 3. Your network is your net worth By sharing (and engaging with!) relevant content you build stronger connections with colleagues, industry leaders, and potential customers. This opens doors to new opportunities and collaborations. 4. It's a two-way street Employee advocacy isn't just about blasting out company messages. It's about learning from others, sparking conversations and contributing to something bigger than yourself. Should more companies encourage employee advocacy? Share it in comments #personalbranding #branding #employeeexperience #employeeengagement #brand #advocacy #linkedin #lipostingchallengeindia

Ok, somebody needs to say it, and apparently, it's gonna be me (again). No wonder they tag me as the black sheep. Spoiler: this is a marketing-related post. As long as LinkedIn pages with 10.000+ followers have between 20-50 likes/ post, you can't expect pages with 3000+ followers to perform better. Look around! You will see it. That's because LinkedIn does not prioritize professional pages in its algorithm. So stop stressing! Start adapting! Use that energy to build employee advocacy! Use that energy to build up your personal brand. Invest in personality-led content. That means YOU. Use YOUR voice to drive engagement and build thought leadership. I've been saying this for years, but companies that don't leverage their employees in brand awareness won't get far without a huge budget to invest here and there. I rest my case! #thoughtleadership #personalbrand #brandawarenss

An open letter to all companies, If your employees decide to start building a personal brand... 👏 this shouldn't be viewed as a threat 👏 Many organisations underestimate the power their team holds in shaping brand perception. On average, your employees have a network that is 10 times larger than your company’s follower base (LinkedIn), opening up the possibility of amplifying brand visibility far beyond traditional marketing channels. When they share their genuine experiences, thought leadership and knowledge, the potential ripple effect is huge. And if they are passionate advocates for your brand, they can become credible and authentic voices for you. Empowering advocacy isn't just about external benefits either. ✅ It boosts internal morale ✅ It fosters a culture of ownership ✅ It cultivates a sense of belonging Plus it can also positively impact your bottom line. Research from LinkedIn found that social selling leaders are 51% more likely to reach quota. How do you spark this movement in your organisation? 👏 Empower your team 👏 Share the vision 👏 Celebrate their voices

3 Major Mistakes Companies Make on Social Media (LinkedIn Edition) Social media can be a game-changer for companies, but many businesses fall into traps that limit their success—especially on LinkedIn. Let’s break down the biggest mistakes and how to fix them. 👉 Mistake #1: Lack of a Social Media(Linkedin) Strategy Without a clear strategy, your social media presence will lack direction and consistency. 💡 What to do instead: Develop a strategic plan that aligns with your business objectives. Know your target audience, define your key messages, and be intentional about the content you share. 👉 Mistake #2: Not Implementing an Employee Advocacy Program Your employees are your strongest brand advocates, but many companies miss the opportunity to leverage their voice. When employees are empowered to share company content, it expands your reach and builds trust. 💡 What to do instead: Encourage and train your employees to be active on LinkedIn. Create a structured employee advocacy program where team members share their expertise and promote your brand authentically. 👉 Mistake #3: CEOs/Founders Not Creating Content Leadership visibility on social media is crucial. When the CEO or founder isn’t active, it’s a missed opportunity to build thought leadership and credibility. 💡 What to do instead: Leaders should regularly share insights, industry trends, and personal stories. This humanizes the brand, attracts talent, and fosters deeper connections with your audience. A strong social media presence requires strategy, advocacy, and leadership involvement. Don’t miss out on the opportunities LinkedIn offers to build your brand and connect with your audience. Are you making any of these mistakes?
