🌍 As it’s Earth Day we’ve been taking some time to reflect on the small but important role Seedrs has played over the last few years to support sustainability focused businesses. We were proud that, in 2023, we launched 100 sustainability campaigns with a 108% increase year on year in the number of sustainability campaigns raising over £1m. As part of this, ClimateTech continued to be extremely popular and we invested in 27 businesses from this sector participating in rounds totalling £27m. At Seedrs, we feel we are uniquely positioned to democratise the opportunities to invest in the businesses that are taking an active role in protecting the long term future of our natural world, harnessing the belief of the crowd in the green revolution to fund impactful and scalable solutions. Our ambition is to continue to support the founders at the forefront of building a greener future and we’re delighted to see ever increasing enthusiasm for green investment opportunities from our investor community. Here's to investing in green 💚 #ClimateTech #Sustainability #EarthDay

📢 All good things come in threes! Klim, a leader in #regenerativeagriculture solutions, is the 3rd #greentech identified by EM in which BNP Paribas or one of our banks invests. 🌍🌳 Several months after our learning expedition in Berlin, where we first met with Klim, the #AgriTech #startup announced today the close of its Series A funding round, led by the Group: $22M. This will enable Klim to expand internationally, enhance its platform and introduce a new financial services layer. This is a critical step in scaling regenerative agriculture, allowing farmers to secure the resources they need to transition effectively. 👩🌾👨🌾🌱 Already, more than 3,500 farmers are using the platform to cultivate over 700,000 hectares of land and you know what? Some of them are in one of our geographies, Poland. Indeed, a partnership was agreed in July 2024 between Klim and BNP Paribas Bank Polska to support sustainable and regenerative agriculture transition in the country, especially corporate customers such as food processors. It aims to guide them in their supply chain decarbonization. 🎯 This key partnership is further proof that BNP Paribas is fully committed to more #sustainablefinance. ♻ Congratulations to Robert Gerlach, CEO of Klim and the BNP Paribas’ Impact Investing team for this promising accomplishment. 🤝👏 Anne Pointet Laurence Pessez Maha Keramane Sylvain Taboni Pauline Blandin Przemek Gdanski (he/him) Find more information on the funding round and the partnership with Klim, see the link of the press release in the comments. 👇 Stay tuned to discover our next milestones. #SustainableFuture

🚀Funding Update 🚀 We’re thrilled to announce that we have closed our seed funding round of €1.5m with Vireo Ventures as lead investor. We are privileged to have the support of Vireo, an Article 9 SFDR Fund with a wealth of industrial expertise and a strong commitment to the energy transition. At ARTEM our mission is to build the infrastructure to trace GHG emissions from start to finish along cross-border supply chains. This allows producers, exporters and importers to comply with carbon taxes and emission trading schemes worldwide, especially those with a cross-border impact (such as CBAM). We offer comprehensive solutions that: 🔎Use Continued Emission Measuring Systems (made in Schwarzwald Germany) to automatically collect, report and verify accurate real-time emissions data directly from production 📈Predict and calculate the monetary impact of carbon taxes and emission trading systems on the price of goods 🌎Improve transparency and traceability in global supply chains to incentivise GHG reductions in manufacturing We look forward to working with Vireo Ventures to realise our mission.
