The manufacturer experienced problems with its existing motors, including longevity and limited efficiency. This has prompted them to look for a new and innovative motor solution with direct drive. Named after the physicist who discovered it in 1879, Edwin Hall, the Hall effect varies output voltage proportional to the magnetic field it is sensing. For PE, the Hall effect is used as a digital switch that can perform a variety of functions in automotive systems. A simple circuit, but much to learn.. 💭 As a first step in developing a more efficient wireless charger, I wanted to learn it from scratch and tried this simple circuit by myself few months ago. This hands-on approach allowed me to understand the intricacies of the technology and lay the groundwork for more advanced designs. The ultimate goal is to design a contactless charger for electric vehicles (EVs). After my measurements, I realized this method is very inefficient, and I aim to develop it further with advanced electronics. This is a small step toward a more convenient and cable-free future!
