Many thanks to everyone at Healthwatch Stockport for today’s Making It Real event. It was great to hear from so many with lived experience. A lot of collaborative work is happening and it’s good to hear work is happening on communication. Good communication is so vital to inclusion and empowerment. We can’t forget non-verbal communication and how we make people feel by our actions and intentions. Whether we call it co-production or working in partnership, we all need to focus on positive action that creates meaningful change in people’s lives, not just words.
