⭐ Municipal Spotlight: The Town of Natick is taking the next step towards removing the Charles River Dam in South Natick. The town completed the MEPA environmental review process and will start permitting efforts. This is a big step towards removing the Charles River Dam at South Natick, which was deemed in “poor condition” by the MA Office of Dam Safety and serves no purpose for power or flood control. Removing the South Natick Charles River Dam will facilitate fish passage, improve water quality and the river ecosystem, and minimize flood risk. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eFu5jpnV
