A combination of ultralight fabric and solar cells is a game changing concept. The ability to generate electricity more efficiently that current solar cells is going to be very important where space is limited. The ability to install this technology in new ways (especially compared with the existing heavy, expensive and complicated roof-top methodologies is excellent! Congratulations to the MIT engineers behind this innovation! UAVs and drones powered with this technology next?
