The new Ford Capri looks fantastic in my opinion, but it bears no resemblance to the classic Capri. To me, it feels more like a marketing ploy to capitalise on nostalgia and generate buzz than a true successor. And whist this strategy may be working, I do wonder why they didn't simply brand it as a new EV and usher in a fresh era for Ford, rather than relying on a distant association.
