Attended the #TiEGlobalSummit2024 last week! This event provided a wealth of knowledge, motivation, and connections for Entrepreneurs. The various sessions and masterclasses were fantastic, providing essential insights into growing firms and navigating the AI revolution. I was particularly inspired by masterclass by Anand Deshpande, Founder of Persistent Systems on "Shifting to the Second Orbit." It was an eye-opener on navigating the challenges of scaling businesses beyond the initial growth phase. Anand's insights on transitioning from a founder-driven setup to a professionally managed organization was bang on! The emphasis on building a strong, purpose-driven vision and tackling the bottlenecks that hold companies back was pure gold. One takeaway that resonated deeply: “What works in the first orbit won’t necessarily work in the second.” This is something every entrepreneur grappling with scaling challenges needs to hear It was a powerful reminder of the challenges and opportunities that come with scaling a business. The session highlighted the importance of maintaining focus, building a strong team, and having a clear vision. It's a valuable lesson for any entrepreneur looking to take their business to the next level. A further highlight was the GCCx Startups Conclave, which demonstrated Global Capability Centers' enormous potential to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in India. It's fantastic to see how these institutions are helping to create a strong startup ecosystem. I found myself in an unexpected yet incredibly rewarding position recently—serving as a judge at the #MaofProgram #DemoDay for new startups! It feels surreal, especially since this is the same program where I began my journey as a startup CEO. Being on the other side of the table, listening to new founders and their ideas, was both inspiring and a full-circle moment. This experience made me reflect on how much I've learned, not only from the countless startup events and programs I’ve attended but also from my personal journey as a founder. Although I still consider myself at the beginning, it was a powerful reminder that I now have knowledge and insights to offer others—helping them navigate the highs and lows, sharing tips, and offering support. It was an honor to serve as a judge alongside Tal Catran, a successful entrepreneur, founder, speaker, investor as well as an amazing person. Learning from his expertise was an invaluable experience for me too. I wish a lot of luck to all the founders: uri ofer, Ofek Okonski אופק אוקונסקי, Shlomi Kapon, Ginadi Bonder, Sharon Hajaj, Ariel Yaffe.
