We know the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR) which encompasses Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR), Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is going to revolutionize the world, but with the maturity of Quantum Computing (QC) and introduction of 6G or even 7G network, the transformation pace is going to accelerate further beyond our imagination. With the unimaginable speed that QC and 6G bring, it will elevate the user experience of AI, XR and RPA to the next level, particularly in imaging, presence technology and location awareness. Collectively, they create an immersive, persistent, fully integrated virtual metaverse that transforms our workplace: 1. Collaborate & Communicate - Participate in 3D digital meetings where our avatars will have “real” eye contact with one another with body language in real time. 2. Process information and make decision quickly in response to market changes. 3. Conduct training using immersive VR and AR experience. On a personal front, the use of smart Internet of Things (IoT) devices to collect data and analyze information will make us more predictive than reactive and 4D maps will enhance our commute experience. Here's how Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Virtual Reality (VR) fit in: AR - You're still seeing the real world through your phone's camera, but apps like Snapchat and Instagram add digital elements, like bunny ears or funny glasses, on top of that real world image. MR - Mixes real and imaginary worlds together. Imagine playing catch with a virtual ball in your living room. An example of MR is what we see in the video below, a real person playing with a virtual block. VR - Takes you to a completely made-up world, everything surrounding you is not real, however looks like it could be, for example standing on Mars or swimming with a mile below the ocean surface, swimming with sharks.
