As a member of the Cancer Strategy Concern Group (CSCG), I would like to share our recommendations for the upcoming budget speech. We have conducted a comprehensive analysis of the benefits and costs of cancer screening programs in Hong Kong, and we have found that they can significantly reduce mortality and morbidity from various types of cancer, as well as save money for the healthcare system in the long run. We urge the Financial Secretary and the Health Bureau to take our suggestions into account and allocate more resources and support for cancer screening initiatives. This will not only improve the health and well-being of the people of Hong Kong, but also enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our healthcare system. #cancerscreening #breastcancer #livercancer #lungcancer
