Dear Recruiters, When you have job openings and looking for a suitable candidate first thing is check their experience and skills not the sector of work , I am really sorry to say this because whenever I start applying for a position a few years back they used to say that I am not selected as I am not having experience and now a days when I am applying for a position they start saying sorry your not selected as you don't have experience working in a particular sector etc,If the candidate need to get a job they need apply for a position they need to work in every sector this is not a right decision of hiring candidates. Hire candidates based on their skills and experience not based on the sector they worked in etc ...... Eg:We require candidates with oil and gas experience, Hospitality Experience,Airlines etc These are the few requirements companies looking for nowadays My Suggestion is Hire a candidate with skills and Experience is the Position Applied not based on sector worked etc

Siemens, Riyadh Saudi Arabia. After completing my assignment in Iraq, my primary goal was to migrate with my family to the Middle East to explore new opportunities and immerse ourselves in its diverse cultures. I specifically targeted Saudi Arabia and Qatar, aiming for positions with industry giants like Saudi Aramco and Qatar Energy (formerly Qatar Petroleum) due to my background in the oil and gas sector. To pursue these goals, I meticulously planned my approach by: 1. Registering on the career websites of these companies. 2. Setting up job alerts tailored to my skills, experience, and interests. 3. Revising my CV in response to job notifications and applying accordingly. Initially, focusing exclusively on the oil and gas industry led to a lack of positive responses. Recognizing this, I expanded my job search to include other industries. This strategy shift proved successful when I secured an interview with Siemens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Despite my initial skepticism about applying through their website due to the high volume of applications, I used an ATS-friendly CV template and a strategic application approach. This led to my CV being shortlisted and an invitation to interview, which I will detail further, including how I successfully navigated the interview process to secure the position in the next post. I offer CV review and conversion services for RM40 per CV. My templates are ATS-friendly and having proven effective with international oil, gas, and energy companies. Feel free to send your CV to https://lnkd.in/gdx6BNKc. Often, a simple rewording and restructuring of your key strengths can unlock your full potential. This service is not limited to the oil and gas industry; it’s applicable across various fields
