The VARC section saved me in CAT 2023. I panicked in the LRDI section and scored just 22.51 percentile in it. Quants was okay and I managed to get 86.21 percentile. Yahan tak ka pattern dekho toh I wouldn’t have scored even 70 percentile overall. But iske baad entry hoti hai hero ki. In VARC, I scored 99.71 percentile. Only and only because of this I could score 96.22 percentile overall, despite completing ruining my LRDI. It literally hurts me when I see people treat VARC as something that can be dealt with in the last month. Nahi bhai, aise nahi hota. If you analyse the trend, Quants and LRDI section has been getting tougher each year. Aise mey if you’re a non-engineer, who will come to your rescue? VARC can literally save your year. It’s the only reason I could convert a good college this time. Do not take it lightly. Give VARC the respect and practice it deserves and it shall save you when the time comes.
