Can a company clocking ₹1,550+ Crores in topline fail? Sounds a bit difficult no? Well it was. Medikabazaar, a B2B marketplace for medical supplies, inflated its revenue numbers by 60-65%. It showed GMV as the Net Revenue. After being caught, the company was forced to fixed these numbers and the audit is still on. So, is all this manipulation and struggles to hide your fake numbers worth it? Not at all. As a founder, you should always avoid financial manipulation. Here is why: 📌 Trust and Reputation: Manipulating revenue erodes trust with investors, partners, and customers.
