Here are some of the most amazing custom-made #pianos by Fazioli. My absolute favorite – on my ideal wish list of course… – is the Marco Polo, a red F308 celebrating the ties of Venice and China, or nearby Sacile and the Chinese commissioning client, by its reference to the Venetian explorer who opened the silk route, and the reproduction of a Canaletto canvas inside the lid. What is truly remarkable about the Fazioli approach to manufacture is not only the founder’s idea of the #piano as an object of technical and aesthetic evolution, but also the company’s philosophy: to produce individual, high achieving pianos for performers, endowed with a unique personality and sound. Rejecting any logic of industrial serialization, the 55 employees of Fazioli produce 150 pianos per year (each piano takes 2 years to complete) and 95% of them are sold outside Italy. Here is the story of the Italian Ferrari of pianos! Check out my latest episode of #italianinnovators at 👉 bit.ly/innovators-fazioli

✨ FREE ✨ Music Lesson/Advice for Playing Violin & Viola - Part 1 of 2: --- There's no right or wrong way to play the violin/viola, there are so many methods. Here are a few ✨high-yield✨ tips to get you started and/or keep your momentum going: A. Listen to your favorite artists (I recommend listening to the experts consistently, to normalize expertise), and watching them perform. Like how humans naturally learn how to sing, your brain will soak up and process auditory information this way. The Suzuki Method follows this philosophy, but you don't have to do "The Suzuki Method." Violin clip example 1 (live recording of Ginette Neveu playing Chausson Poeme): https://lnkd.in/ggXFKfNA Violin clip example 2 (live recording of Jascha Heifetz playing Bach Chaconne, my personal favorite interpretation of Chaconne): https://lnkd.in/gyxYYEeX Viola clip example 1 (live recording of William Primrose playing Ave Maria with Sidonie Goossens on harp): https://lnkd.in/g62e9xUA Viola clip example 2 (live recording of Tabea Zimmermann playing Bela Bartok Viola Concerto, filmed by Nelson Dellamagiore): https://lnkd.in/gGMZUt9Q B. Similarly, if you struggle with music phrasing - which transforms notes from sounding robotic to sound like, well, alive music - sing the music out loud, how you want it to sound, how, in your opinion, it should sound. That's your interpretation 🌈 1) Demonstrated by Benjamin Zander (2008 TED Talk Live Recording): https://lnkd.in/gVqDu4D4 2) Danzón No. 2 (2018 Live Recording): https://lnkd.in/gwc2PVgh Composer: Arturo Márquez Conductor: Alondra de la Parra, Orchestra: L'Orchestre de Paris 3) Symphony No. 1 in e minor, 1st movement (2020 Live Recording): https://lnkd.in/gDMwNFNN Composer: Florence B. Price Conductor: Roderick Cox Orchestra: Chineke! Orchestra C. Experiment with techniques & sound profiles: Igudesman & Joo using a Milk Frother: https://lnkd.in/gTPswJ3E I've tried lots of shoulder rests - rubber padding, sponges, balloon-inflated pads, you name it! But now, I stick to no shoulder rest on the violin as it is most comfortable for me and prevents neck strain. D. Record yourself - this is one of the most brutally honest methods because what you hear next to your ear isn't the same sound the audience hears, and unfortunately, you will never really be able to know this, as every person's perception and distance from your sound projection is different, but it can help you identify blind spots in your playing you were not aware of - like looking into a mirror and seeing that you might need to adjust your clothing. If it's too difficult to watch yourself play, I recommend giving yourself some time after recording and watching your recording as a 3rd person observer.

Read more: https://lnkd.in/eCBFEhSa 10 incredible benefits of listening to classical music: https://lnkd.in/e_W9-WRE WHY IS CLASSICAL MUSIC GOOD FOR THE MIND? CLASSICAL MUSIC AND BRAIN DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN: "The influence of classical music is not limited to adults; it extends to the developing minds of children as well. The “Mozart Effect,” a term coined from a study suggesting improved spatial-temporal reasoning after listening to Mozart’s music, has sparked interest in the relationship between classical music and early brain development. Exposing children to classical music during their early years may contribute to the development of neural connections, particularly in brain areas responsible for spatial reasoning, language, and mathematical abilities. Many educational programs now incorporate classical music into their curricula to enhance learning and cognitive development in children."
