“What were your favourite memories from holiday?” It’s a common question, but one that holds so much depth. Holidays have changed since having kids—often exhausting and challenging. Yet, when I reflect on my favourite moments, they stand out for the same reasons: • They connected me to others • They connected me to the world • They connected me to myself This realisation reminds me that I don’t need to wait for a holiday to experience these connections. So, whether you managed to get away or not, what were your favourite moments and why? And how can we all create a bit more space in our everyday lives to connect with others and ourselves? #SelfReflection #WorkLifeBalance #MindfulLiving #ConnectionMatters #PersonalGrowth #FamilyLife #HolidayReflection #ParentingJourney #ProfessionalGrowth #mensmentalhealth

💫How to Keep the Holidays Politic-Free and Joyful💫 The holidays are a time to gather, connect, and cherish the people we love. While we may not see eye-to-eye, that shouldn’t overshadow the joy of being together. If you’re hoping for a peaceful, love-filled holiday, here are a few heartfelt tips: ✨Set a Loving Tone: Before your guests arrive, gently remind them that this time together is about celebration and connection. A simple, heartfelt message like, “Let’s focus on what brings us together, not what pulls us apart,” can set the tone for a day filled with love, not debate. ✨Gently Guide the Conversation: If politics do come up, it’s okay to lovingly steer the conversation toward something more uplifting. Ask about everyone’s favorite holiday memories, share light-hearted stories, or talk about future plans. Sometimes, a little redirection can bring the focus back to the joy of being together. ✨Create Shared Joy with Activities: Plan activities that everyone can enjoy, like a holiday game, a cookie-decorating contest, or sharing stories around the table. When everyone is engaged in fun and laughter, it becomes easier to focus on togetherness rather than differences. ✨Step Away If Needed: If you sense things starting to get heated, it’s okay to step away for a moment. Offer to refill drinks, check on the food, or take a deep breath. These small breaks can help reset the energy and bring calm back to the gathering. ✨Make Gratitude the Centerpiece: Invite everyone to share something they’re grateful for this year. It’s a beautiful way to remind each other of the blessings we have and to shift the focus back to love, family, and the spirit of the season. This holiday season, let’s choose love over conflict, connection over division, and joy over everything else. At the end of the day, being with the people we care about is what matters most. 😊 #DrBernadetteMD #HolidayJoy #ChooseLove #GratitudeFirst #Peace#Family #HolidaySeason #Friends #CherishTheMoment #SpreadLove

🎄 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄 As the year winds down and the holiday season surrounds us, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of something important: work will still be there in January. This season is about more than deadlines and deliverables. It’s about taking time for yourself, your family, and your friends. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, sharing laughter with loved ones, or simply reflecting on what truly matters—make space for the moments that bring joy and connection. Remember, keeping things in perspective is key. The hustle and challenges of work are just one part of life. Taking time to recharge now not only benefits you but also prepares you to return in the new year with clarity, focus, and purpose. So, step away when you can. Celebrate the little things. Appreciate the people who make life meaningful. Wishing you and your loved ones peace, joy, and a bright start to the new year. #MerryChristmas #HappyHolidays #Perspective #FamilyFirst

This time last year, I was running on fumes. Between the back-to-back gatherings, endless errands, and trying to make the holidays perfect for everyone else, I barely came up for air. I remember collapsing on the couch one night after yet another packed day, realizing I hadn’t done a single thing I actually enjoyed that holiday season. Not one. 😣 Sound familiar? Here’s the thing: when you’re constantly putting everyone else first, your energy, joy, and sanity take a backseat. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Imagine a holiday season where you feel ENERGIZED instead of DRAINED. One where you have time for quiet moments, traditions you actually care about, and a calendar that reflects your priorities (not everyone else’s!). That’s what Holiday Bliss is about. ⛄️ It’s not just surviving the holidays; it’s about thriving through them, your way. 👉 👉 👉 And what you’ll learn? It’s not just for this December! It’s for every hectic life season to come. #holidays #introverts #introverted

🎄It's that time of the year! What does holiday season mean for you? For me, this time of year is all about 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧. Over the past three weeks, my team and I have been working tirelessly to tie up loose ends, ensuring we can fully enjoy time with our family and friends. Because let’s be honest—if I even glance at one email, it’s no longer a real day off. Just opening my laptop pulls me back into “work mode,” and even if it’s brief, the thought of it lingers, stealing away the peace I’m trying to create. 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 - for as long as I can remember, I’ve driven myself crazy trying to plan every detail of the holidays. The result? Exhaustion, frustration, and nothing ever quite going as planned, anyway!. In recent years, I’ve been making a conscious effort to let go of the rigid plans and embrace spontaneity. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t—but at least then I am not mad at the world when my all my plans go to hell! 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - I used to strive for perfection: the perfectly decorated Christmas tree, a flawless dinner table, elaborate multi-course meals made from scratch, matching pajamas, and beautifully wrapped gifts. Now? I’ve let go of those pressures. This year, my Christmas tree is far from perfect, but it’s full of charm. I haven’t finished shopping, the fairy lights on my wreath are broken, and my grocery list is still waiting—but I’m not stressing about it. What matters is the joy and love around me, not how picture-perfect it all looks. I’ve promised myself to honor what the holidays are truly about—slowing down, relaxing, and cherishing the time I get with my loved ones. To everyone in and out of my network, I wish you a joyful and peaceful holiday season. May this time bring you the same sense of calm and contentment I’m striving for. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀: 𝗔 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻 We drape so much meaning over the holidays that it’s no wonder they drape so much weight over us in return. For some, it’s the quest for the perfect celebration—a frantic attempt to bottle joy and uncork it on cue. For others, it’s a bittersweet ritual, trying to recreate moments from the past. And then there are those who quietly notice the empty chair at the table, the year that has slipped by, or the subtle ache of time moving forward without someone they cherished. It’s easy to assume that everyone shares the same festive glow. That the sparkling lights outside reflect the warmth inside. But the truth? Not everyone is in the same headspace as you. And that’s okay. This season, let’s do something radical: instead of leading with canned lines like “Are you excited for the holidays?” or “What are your big plans?”—questions that can amplify someone’s sense of disconnection—let’s pause. Instead, try this: “How are you doing?” And mean it. Be prepared to sit in their world for a few minutes. Maybe they’ll light up and share something magical, or maybe they’ll confide something heavy. Either way, your presence and openness will mean more than you can imagine. The holidays don’t need to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes, the best gift we can give is simply making space for someone else. So, as you navigate the festive frenzy, remember that not everyone’s path is paved with twinkling lights. Some are walking in shadows, and a kind word—or even just a little patience—can be a beacon. Let’s honour the complexity of this season, not by assuming everyone’s joy, but by embracing everyone’s truth. #HolidaySeason #Wellness #CheckInWithOthers #Empathy #Mindfulness #CommunityCare #ConnectionMatters

🌟 The Holidays Are Here: A Time for Gratitude and Storytelling In my family, we have a habit that’s become a cherished tradition: 🌹🌵 The Rose and Thorn. At dinner, each person shares a rose (something great that happened that day) and a thorn (something that wasn’t so great). By telling these little stories, we’re not just sharing our day—we’re building the stories of our family. We learn about each other, laugh together, and connect in ways that might otherwise slip by. On busy days when life pulls us in different directions, it’s a way to re-connect. And during the holidays, when we’re all together, it’s the perfect way to recap the day’s highlights. 💡 What habits or traditions does your family have that reflect your values? I’d love to hear how you bring connection, gratitude, or storytelling into your family traditions. Share your ideas in the comments! Happy Holidays! #Holidays #Gratitude #Storytelling #FamilyTraditions

This time I’m not here to share a cool demo or any groundbreaking or exciting news. No new tech trends, no big ideas, no recent achievements. Today, I just want to emphasise something simple yet deeply important: the value of cherishing the holiday season 🎄, spending time with family 👨👩👧👦, and giving ourselves the grace to pause 🤍. In a world that constantly pushes us to innovate, achieve, and stay ahead, it’s easy to forget that some of the best ideas come not from running full speed, but from the quiet moments — moments when our minds are free from the noise and stress of daily life 🌬️. So, as the holidays unfold, let’s take a step back. Let’s reconnect with what truly matters — family, rest, and those small, meaningful moments that bring us joy 😊 and perspective. Because sometimes, the best way to fuel our creativity and passion is to simply allow ourselves to rest and recharge ⚡. Here’s to finding inspiration not in doing more, but in being present 🙏. Wishing everyone a peaceful and joyful holiday season ✨❄️. PS: The one in the picture is not me 😄 #HolidayReflections #QualityTime #MindfulMoments #RestAndRecharge #MentalHealth
