ATSC 3.0 broadcasts are now reaching more than 75% of American homes. Pearl TV reports that broadcasters in 57 TV markets are using NextGen TV to deliver high dynamic range (HDR) to more than 70 million homes. In addition, a large group of stations has begun offering interactive capabilities with the flexible RUN3TV broadcast web platform. During the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby this year, broadcasted by WAVE-TV, Louisville viewers watched the Derby in Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range and the Dolby Atmos audio. Viewership of NextGen TV at WAVE doubled during Derby week. In other big news, TCL has started shipping its first TV products enabled with ATSC 3.0. Consumers are buying more than 12,000 NextGen TV products EVERY DAY!
