TAKE OFF and LANDING The most difficult and crucial period of an aircraft is its TAKE OFF, INITIAL CLIMB, and LANDING. These moments require precise control and quick decision-making by the pilots. Now, let's take you as the pilot ( for God is empowering at the backend) of your life. The time you were in school was the moment of your taxing (moving slowly and ensuring the lines are clear for your take-off). The mistakes you make at this moment can be corrected unless you exposed yourself to higher risks. When you are taking off in your career, make the right decisions, know what you want, and go for it. Your first job has a significant impact on the rest of your career. Make the right decisions. Some people get it right at the start, and others struggle to maintain altitude. Just make sure you don't crush; if you need to land and take off again, calculate your risk and take it! Go and shine! I know you can do this!

This is great! This journey has been nothing short of amazing! I consider myself lucky to have taken this path. Working in various positions before managing them has taught me the virtues of patience and accountability. I started on the wash rack when I was 18 years old a Cat Rental Store, then begged the Service Manager to let me change the oil in the equipment. I then transitioned to sales and then management. I mean, have you ever tried putting a track back on a machine in the scorching South Mississippi heat in the mud? It's no walk in the park, let me tell you. You truly understand the struggle when you've been there yourself and understand why the service call to longer than usual. I firmly believe that anyone can rise to the challenge and climb the corporate ladder to become a manager, operations manager, or even a CEO with the right attitude. It all boils down to two simple things: outworking everyone else in the building and having a mentor who guides you when you have an open mind. So, roll up your sleeves, put in the work, and watch yourself soar to the top! ** Just never get so big you forget where you came from. Everyone in the company deserves respect no matter job title or rank.

Bit of a change of pace to my normal transportation and logistics based posts. I’d like to do something a bit different to highlight the great people that I both have worked with or currently work with. I guess we can chalk it up to Thanksgiving week, but I’ve been contemplating this for a while. I think we can use this platform for a more powerful purpose. One of uplifting and showcasing the people we spend 40-60 hours with each week, building and executing while we try to provide for ourselves and our families. It may catch on. It may not. I’ll be consistent with it though, I can promise you that. Feel free to unfollow, mute, or remove the connection if you disagree with this mission of mine. Current teammate: I have to go with my man Glen Stewart. The guy I’ve spent so much time with since I started at Wabash. A big reason why I work at Wabash today actually. The guy doesn’t know anything other than good energy and execution. Glen has been an incredible thought partner for me as I’ve transitioned into a new role over the last month and is a bit of counter balance to my thought process and how I go about my day - forcing me to think a little differently. Anyone that knows Glen only has fantastic things to say about him and he’s a great example of a strategic operational leader who is an even better person. Give me guys like Glen Stewart on my team all day long and I like our chances no matter what it is we are trying to accomplish. Former teammate: So many top-notch people I can go with, but I’ll lead off with Brea Figura Raines. I had the pleasure of working alongside Brea at REPOWR, and I was so impressed with her drive and determination to win while helping the rest of the team. REPOWR’s visibility across the logistics space exploded after Brea came on and that’s not a coincidence. The other thing I like about Brea is that she’s a direct communicator, which is exactly how I am. Direct, but professional and respectful. Exactly what I believe society as a whole needs to adopt some more. Brea will continue to be great at whatever she chooses to do. Zero doubt in my mind. See you all next week for the next round of great people I have been fortunate enough to lead, work alongside, or report to. As always, comments and criticisms are welcome!

🔧🚀 Big Moves in North Florida! 🔧🚀 Hey everyone, Justin here from Davis Industrial. I've been up here in North Florida, diving deep into the local scene, and I gotta say, it’s been quite the ride. We might be the new kids on the block here, but we’ve been around the block a few times in this industry. Here’s what’s happening: 👊 Set Ways vs. New Days: A lot of folks here stick to what they know—can’t blame them; if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? But here’s the thing—if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got. We’re here to show there’s a better way with some fresh solutions. 🛠️ Switching It Up with Superscrews: We’ve been talking to customers about giving Superscrews a go instead of the usual 140s or 190s. In the right application, it’s a game changer. We’re seeing some minds change and gears shift! 🔗 Real Fixes for Real Issues at a glass manufacturer: Ran into a snag with frequent belt failures, even right out the gate. Took a hard look and I figured out that the s-drive and pulley sizes were too small for the belt type. We switched up the belt types and, so far, it looks like we’ve nailed it. 🤞 We’re here to bring our expertise right to your doorstep, mixing decades of know-how with local needs. Thanks to everyone who’s welcomed us and to those who’ve taken the leap with our new ideas. Let’s keep those belts moving better than ever! #ConveyorTech #InnovationOnTheMove #DavisIndustrial #NorthFlorida

It's Masters Week in Augusta As an Augusta native, I love it! It's a chance to show off our little hidden corner of the world. It's an opportunity to interact with and serve a unique, diverse group of people who otherwise wouldn't step foot in our city. And it's always a fun reminder that customer service matters. Don't believe me? Just look at the Augusta National. Why do people from all over the world pay a king's ransom to come here, sometimes for a singular day? Golf? -- sure, some. Not most. Exclusivity? -- ehh...yes & no. It helps. Hospitality and Service??? - you bet! The Augusta National is one of the few places in the world where you get THE premium experience, on time, every time. Every detail is obsessed over. Every potential thing that can detract from an experience --- eliminated (ask why they poured underground tunnels -- who wants to see service trucks on site?) Is your business the Augusta National? No Can you learn from them? Yes Try it -- it's not hard to separate yourselves these days. Go the extra mile. Ask your clients what will make their experience better. And then implement it.

Today marks the very first National Stay Out of the Blind Spot Day in the Netherlands! 🚛👀 This important initiative by Transport and Logistics Netherlands (TLN) and Road Safety Netherlands (Veilig Verkeer Nederland - VVN) aims to raise awareness among children about the dangers of the blind spot around large vehicles like trucks, buses, and tractors. At Stoneridge, we understand the critical importance of road safety. That’s why we’ve developed advanced camera systems designed to minimize the risks associated with blind spots and enhance safety for everyone.
