Microinteractions: Delightful Details Small details, big impact! Discuss the importance of designing subtle animations and interactions (microinteractions) in user interfaces (UI). Microinteractions provide immediate feedback on user actions, like button clicks or page transitions. They can also add a layer of polish and delight, making user experiences more engaging and enjoyable. Utilize subtle animations and sound effects to create a seamless and intuitive user experience. Analyze how popular apps like Instagram or Apple Music utilize microinteractions. Share your tips on incorporating microinteractions into your UI designs and inspire others to design delightful and user-friendly interfaces. #microinteractions #graphicdesign #UI #graphicdesigning #graphicdesigner

Project Update🔔 Check out the video where I take you through a glimpse of Yash's user journey on our app! Initially, I was overwhelmed by the complexity of building a web3 platform and the sheer number of potential features. I've been jumping back and forth to gather more insights. However, with time constraints in mind, I strategically narrowed the focus to solve meaningful connections within the platform. As I write this post, I want to narrow down the community feature even more and build a good experience for both creators and collectors. Thanks to Anudeep Ayyagari (UX Anudeep) for guiding. What are your thoughts on broadcast channels by creators? Do let me know in the comments.

Mastering Micro interactions: A Designer’s Guide Micro interactions are the unsung heroes of user experience design. They may be small, but their impact is mighty! Let’s dive into the basics: 1. What Are Micro interactions? • Micro interactions are those delightful moments that happen within an interface. Think of them as tiny interactions that guide users through their journey with a product or app. ⨀ Examples include: • A heart animation when you “like” a post on social media. • A loading spinner during content retrieval. • A subtle sound effect when you send a message in a chat app. 2. The Four Components of Micro interactions: • Trigger: Initiates the micro interaction. It can be user-initiated (e.g., clicking a button) or system-initiated (e.g., an animation). • Rules: Define what happens when the trigger occurs. Will clicking a button redirect the user? Does typing a message change an icon’s color? • Feedback: Users perceive the result of applied rules. Feedback can be visual (color changes) or other forms of response. • Loops and Modes: Regulate duration and context. How long does the micro interaction last? What if the user repeats the action? #Microinteraction #User #Userexperience

Future-Proofing Your Business: Making the Most of Multiview Google's YouTube TV announced a new feature, Multiview, that can potentially revolutionize consumer behavior in the future. The feature allows users to view up to four different channels or streams at the same time in one screen, which can serve viewers wanting multiple angles for topics such as news, sports coverage, or events. This development prompts the question: can my business benefit from this media feature, or at least learn from the strategy behind it? As a potential UX gold mine (or flop), even non-media related organizations can learn from YouTube TV's Multiview and apply them in their own portals, apps, or future marketing methods. Don't get left behind. Visit us today at www.user.com.sg and see how we can help future-proof your business with the latest innovations in user experience. #userexperience #uxui #ux #userresearch #userresearchcompany #uxresearch #focusgroup #YoutubeTV #Multiview #multiviewfeatures

Little Actions, Get Unappreciated Reactions. What does that mean......? I downloaded 100 apps, just to see who spent the time to create beautiful, customer centric splash screens and I compiled some of the best in this showreel. It's amazing how much those micro moments matter. Shaan Puri, a podcaster that I religiously listen to, uses the term... "The Moments Within The Moments". A term that I have adopted and used not just in my career as a marketer but also as a business owner. It's the moments within the moments that create the memories that stick in people's minds. When you can provide an experience or deflect attention between two actions. UXPlanet states, 52% of users say they form an opinion about your app based on that very first splash screen. In my opinion, these moments are where you can see which companies/designers value the user experience. A creative loading screen can turn a boring or frustrating wait into a seamless memorable interaction that the user probably won't realise or even give a second thought.... until they do. So remember, it's the little actions that get unappreciated reactions. #ux #ui #design #uxdesign #uidesign #uxui #designer #marketing Uber, Zoom, Netflix, The Walt Disney Company, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Figma, YouTube, Klook, Menulog, bp, Flybuys, Telstra, Paramount+
